Introduction of purple eel, shrimp and tiger fish
The purple eel goby is 30 cm long and feeds on crustaceans, small fish and small invertebrates. They mainly live in coastal waters and estuaries of offshore islands in East Africa, India and Australia, but also in Japan, Bangladesh, New Guinea and New Caledonia. Perhaps it is because of this animal's frightening appearance that it has not been widely caught and eaten. A creepy animal was found in Taihu Lake, Jiangsu Province, China. This rare purple eel goby has a face that looks like an alien. It feeds on crustaceans.
