The television anime Captive of Gourmet, based on the manga of the same name by Kounen Shimabukuro, was produced by Toei Animation and aired on Fuji Television from April 3, 2011, with all 147 episodes.

Main Plot

It's the age of food. Komatsu, the head chef of the IGO (International Gourmet Organization) restaurant, receives an order from the director of the restaurant to hunt down the "Kaila Giant Crocodile". The man who is selected to carry out this mission is the gourmet hunter Aru.

Aru is one of the Four Heavenly Kings, a lone food hunter with numerous accomplishments. Aru's dream is to create a full meal menu for life, and knowing this, Komatsu is y moved and decides to become his hunting partner.
