How many kinds of edible fungi are produced per square meter, such as mushrooms, straw mushrooms and Coprinus comatus?
Different varieties of edible fungi, different cultivation modes and different management levels lead to different yields per square meter. It's hard to say clearly here. For example, Agaricus bisporus can produce about 8- 15 kg per square meter, which is very different. For example, Coprinus comatus can produce 10- 18 kg per square meter, Pleurotus ostreatus can reach 20-30 kg per square meter, and some even higher.
