Steps of hydroponic pea seedlings
Generally, hydroponic pea seedlings are cultivated in spring, and the temperature needs to be controlled between 15 ~ 20 degrees Celsius. Before hydroponic cultivation, pea seedlings with better quality should be selected. You can soak the seeds in a salty solution, select pea seedlings that can sink to the bottom, cultivate them, rinse them with clear water and dry them.
Then tap water or purified water is selected and left standing for 1 ~ 2 days. Use a sieve to make the river sand excessive, and choose a transparent glass container as the culture container. You can spread a layer of coarse sand and gravel on the bottom of the basin first, and then pour in river sand, which can be mixed into the soil in a small amount to keep the impurities in the soil low.
Soak pea seedlings in rooting agent solution for 20 minutes, then insert them vertically into the soil to ensure that there are no new buds and leaves near the roots of pea seedlings, then pour still water into the basin to ensure that the water depth does not exceed 2/3 of the length of pea seedlings, and a small amount of nutrient solution can be added into the water to ensure normal growth.
Pea seedlings need to be cultivated in a ventilated and cool environment after planting, and the container cannot be easily moved, which will lead to the phenomenon of plant rooting. Change the water every 3 ~ 4 days to ensure that the water quality is clean and free of impurities and bacteria. When changing water, you need to add a proper amount of nutrient solution.
