What types of henhouses are there? What are their characteristics?
Due to different classification methods, there are many kinds of henhouses. For example, according to its assembly form, it can be divided into stepped, semi-stepped, stacked, stepped and stacked, and single-layer flat; According to the distance from the henhouse to the dung ditch, it can be divided into ordinary type and high bed type; According to the use, it can be divided into egg laying cages, breeding cages, brooding cages, breeding cages and broiler cages.

(1) egg chicken cage

At present, there are two kinds of egg chicken cages produced in China, one is a light chicken cage suitable for light laying hens (blue sea white chicken, Dika white chicken, etc.). ) and medium-sized laying hens (blue ocean brown laying hens, Issa brown laying hens, etc.). ), and most of them are three-level whole-step or half-step combinations.

(1) Cage frame: It is a support for carrying the cage body, and consists of a cross beam and diagonal braces. Cross beams and braces are generally made of angle steel or channel steel with a thickness of 2.0 ~ 2.5 mm.

② Cage body: The chicken cage is assembled by spot welding with cold-drawn steel wire and then galvanized, including top net, bottom net, front net, back net, partition net and cage door. Generally, the front net and the top net are pressed together, and the back net and the bottom net are pressed together. The partition net is a single net, and the cage door is a part of the front net or the top net, some of which can be removed and some can be turned up. The cage bottom net should have a certain slope (that is, the rolling angle), which is generally 6 ~ 10, and extend out of the cage 12 ~ 16 cm to form an egg collection groove. The specifications of cages are generally 40 ~ 45cm in front and 45cm in depth, and each cage has 3 ~ 5 chickens. See figure 10-25 for the cage structure.

(3) Accessory equipment: The egg guard is a thin layer of galvanized iron sheet, which is placed at the front and bottom of the cage. The distance between the lower edge and the bottom net is 5.0 ~ 5.5 cm, which is too large. The chicken head can stick out of the cage to peck the eggs in the egg trough, and the eggs will not roll down if the distance is too small.

The trough is a long trough made of galvanized iron sheet or plastic and installed outside the front screen. The trough should be installed straight, and the upper edge should have cornices to prevent chicken chops.

The trough is a long trough made of galvanized iron sheet or plastic, which is mostly V-shaped or U-shaped and installed above the trough. The installation of the sink should be more straight, so that the water depth of each chicken position is basically the same, and there should be no water in some chicken positions and too much water overflowing in some chicken positions. In addition to the long sink, there are nipple water dispensers and cup water dispensers.

④ Integral installation of chicken coop: When the chicken coop is assembled, the cage frame is installed first, and then the cage net is connected and fixed with cage clips to form a cage body. Generally, four small cages make up a big cage, each small cage is about 50 cm long and a big cage is 2 meters long. After the middle and lower cages are combined into a cage, they are usually hung on the hooks protruding from the cage frame, and the front end of the cage partition net is hung on the edge of the trough to enhance the rigidity of the front of the cage. Two steel wires are added in the middle of the rear part of each large cage bottom net and hung on the hooks of cage frames on both sides to increase the rigidity of the rear part of the cage bottom net. The upper chicken coop is composed of two cages of the same size assembled back to back. The two bottom nets and the two separation nets are connected into a whole, which enhances the rigidity. The hook in front of the net is hung on the edge of the trough, and the middle of the bottom net leans against the longitudinal beam of the cage frame. See Figure 10-26 for the hanging method of cage body and cage frame.

(2) Raising henhouses

Also known as chicken coop, it is mainly used to feed young hens aged 60 ~ 140 days, and generally adopts group feeding. Cage combination mostly adopts 3 ~ 4 layers of semi-stepped or single-layer flat plate. The cage body consists of a front net, a top net, a back net, a bottom net and a partition net, and each large cage is divided into 2-3 small cages or not, the height of the cage body is 30-35cm, the depth of the cage is 45-50cm, and the length of the large cage is generally less than 2m.

(3) brooding henhouse

It is suitable for raising 1 ~ 60-day-old chicks, and stacked cages are often used in production. Generally, the cage is 4 layers and 8 grids, with a length of 180cm, a depth of 45cm and a height of 165cm. Each cage is 87 cm long, 24 cm high and 45 cm deep. Each cage can feed 10 ~ 15 chicks.

Model 9DYL-4 electric brooder (Figure 10-27) is a four-story chicken coop, which consists of 1 electric heating cage, 1 heat preservation cage and four exercise cages. Suitable for feeding 1 ~ 45-day-old laying hens, and the feeding density is 3 ~ 4 times higher than that of flat feeding. Can feed1~1500 ~1600 chicks; 65438+1000 ~12006 ~ 30 days old chicks; 365438+700 ~ 8000 chicks aged 0 ~ 45 days. The total size is 4500 mm×1450 mm×1727 mm, covering an area of 6.2 square meters ... The height of each cage is 333 mm, and the electric heater and automatic temperature control device are used to keep the temperature and humidity in the cage, which is suitable for the growth of chicks. The temperature adjustment range is 20 ~ 40℃, the temperature control accuracy is less than 65438 0℃, and the total power is 65438±0.95 kW. The cage is clean, the epidemic prevention effect is good, and the survival rate can reach 95% ~ 99%.

(4) breeder cages

Most of them adopt 2-layer semi-stepped or single-layer flat plate type. A cage suitable for natural mating of breeders, with a front net height of 720 ~ 730 mm and no partition net in the middle, in which males and hens are mixed in a certain proportion; Chicken cages suitable for artificial insemination of breeders are divided into rooster cages and hen cages, and the structure of hen cages is the same as that of egg cages. The rooster cage has no bottom net of egg guard plate, no rolling angle and rolling gap, and other structures are the same as those of the egg chicken cage.

(5) Chicken house for meat

Most of them are laminated and can be made of bamboo, wood, metal and plastic. At present, the chicken coop made of non-toxic plastic has the advantages of convenient use, filler saving, easy disinfection, corrosion resistance and so on, especially eliminating the chest cyst disease, reducing the price by about 30% compared with similar iron wires, and prolonging the service life by 2-3 times (Figure 10-28).
