Since the climate is often relatively dry during winter cultivation, in addition to using steam heating, other heating measures will promote the evaporation of water in the material. Therefore, waste cotton and cottonseed hulls with high water holding capacity are mostly used. Cultivation raw materials, in order to take into account the flavor of straw mushroom products and appropriately reduce the cost of raw materials, a small amount of straw can be added. The commonly used formula for annual cultivation of straw mushrooms is as follows:
(1) 100 kilograms of waste cotton or cottonseed shells and 5 kilograms of lime.
(2) 100 kilograms of waste cotton, 15 to 25 kilograms of dry rice straw powder, 15 kilograms of cow dung powder, 25 kilograms of bran, 2.5 kilograms of superphosphate, and 2.5 kilograms of calcium carbonate.
(3) 100 kilograms of waste cotton, 25 kilograms of dry rice straw, 15 kilograms of dry cow dung powder, 2 kilograms of gypsum, and 2 kilograms of lime.
(4) Waste cotton or cotton husks 57, straw 15, plant ash or burned soil 20, lime powder 5, calcium carbonate 2.5, urea 0.5.
Carry out pretreatment of the culture material in accordance with the relevant requirements for annual cultivation of professional mushroom houses.
