Further reading: tips for indoor disinfection
Disinfection is one of the effective ways to block the spread of virus. However, household protection should focus on cleaning, supplemented by disinfection.
If there are no COVID-19 cases in the neighborhood, no outsiders visiting at home, and no self-isolators with suspected symptoms, it is not necessary to disinfect every day to do a good job of daily cleaning.
1. It is recommended to keep the room ventilated and the environment clean, and wash your hands as soon as you get home. Hands-free disinfectant contains bactericidal components and has a certain disinfection effect. However, disinfection ingredients often have certain irritation, which may cause skin allergic reactions. If possible, wash your hands with running water, soap or hand sanitizer, and carefully clean your fingertips, palms and wrists.
2. When wiping electrical products such as mobile phones with disinfectant wipes or alcohol cotton, be sure to turn off the machine and wait for the instrument to cool completely, so as to avoid fire or explosion caused by static electricity.
3. For tableware disinfection, boiling water 10 minute is recommended.
4. It's best not to bring the surface packaging of express delivery indoors. When it is really necessary to bring it in, it can be wiped on six sides with disinfectant wipes or sprayed for disinfection. Be sure to do a good job of hand hygiene after handling the courier.
