Weinan Teachers College, located in Weinan City, Shaanxi Province, is a multi-disciplinary comprehensive institution of higher learning with teacher education as its main feature. The school has experienced three periods: the former Weinan Normal College, the Weinan specialized course of Shaanxi Normal University and Weinan Normal College. In 2000, with the approval of the Ministry of Education, Weinan Teachers College merged with Weinan Education College founded by 1983 to form Weinan Teachers College at undergraduate level.
