(1) Temperature management requirements
The traditional temperature management is to install thermometers in trucks or warehouses, the temperature management system used by enterprises must meet the following requirements. ①Easy to manage. In many cases, food products pass through one or more distributors in quality management. With the management of temperature in the distribution path, often requires the cooperation of several enterprises, so a management system is difficult to effectively apply to all enterprise systems. ② Easy data collection. When thermometers installed in warehouses and trucks are used for management, real-time temperatures are required to be checked periodically. In some management systems, temperature loggers are also used, and each record should have been physically connected to a computer and the process of data collection becomes manual. (iii) Separately applied temperature management. Routine management has been applied to common warehouse systems. However, due to the frequent opening and closing of the door at the entrance of the warehouse, there is often a large difference in temperature between the entrance and the depth of the warehouse. Therefore, installing thermometers in warehouses or trucks may not be able to record the correct temperature of food products. ④ Low temperature management costs. In the past, system construction costs and higher labor costs have severely hindered the deployment of temperature management systems.
(2) RFID sensor tags
RFID sensor tags that incorporate temperature, humidity, and other factors are used, and are often combined with memory, battery, and clock recordings to record sensor data at fixed intervals into the memory. Through the readable tag memory, a tag can be accessed "when" and "in a what state". The attributes of RFID sensor tags meet the needs of users of temperature management systems as opposed to ordinary RFID tags. An RFID sensor tag with embedded storage can measure and record the current temperature. This means that a business temperature management system that is implemented by one organization or across multiple organizations can independently collect data and start or stop measurement operations without the need for other organizations to perform the work, avoiding management confusion. Since RFID sensor tags use wireless communication to collect data, they do not need to be connected to a computer to work. This not only means that while reducing the amount of connectivity work required, data can also be collected automatically as long as it is within the reading range of the RFID reader. From the price and effectiveness point of view, the use of RFID sensor tags to improve the efficiency of cooperation between the various business segments, in the long run the cost will also be lower than the management of temperature records, so you can build a relatively low-cost and efficient system.
(3) Early Warning System
For the cold chain food traceability for the temperature requirements of the characteristics of the special food traceability process, the temperature should be maintained at a constant low temperature. In order to prevent the temperature management system failure and staff did not find the situation in time to avoid unnecessary losses, it is necessary to install an early warning system in the food warehouse or truck containers, this system is mainly through the food traceability system connected to the terminal, to achieve real-time monitoring of the temperature and notification. When the temperature in the warehouse or transportation is higher or lower than the set threshold value, the early warning program will start automatically so that the system terminal can detect the problem in time, so that the staff can deal with the problem in time to reduce or avoid economic losses.
The core mechanism of food safety traceability is built on the innovative development platform of CAP, which is a platform software developed by a new generation of informatization technology and can be combined with a variety of hardware device interfaces (such as RFID, handheld PDA) to realize the traceability of food from the source of production to the circulation of the whole process, and it is the main regulatory measure to solve the problem of food safety. Its characteristics lie in the stability and scalability of the platform, according to the characteristics of various types of food, the rapid introduction of process operations, to achieve the producers, consumers benefit from both sides.
