Has anyone been to give some advice on college internship?
This is actually related to my future career planning, depending on the purpose of my internship and what type of unit I want to work in the future.

In fact, I also had this confusion when I was an intern. Is it a private enterprise, a foreign enterprise or a state-owned enterprise? My roommate and I went to the teacher for lessons. At that time, my teacher said to us: "On this issue, I think you should first find out another question, that is, what is the real purpose of your internship as a college student?" Later, we went back to discuss it and basically summarized the following points:

1, for more information.

2. In order to accumulate work experience.

3. Plan a career development path that is relatively suitable for you.

4. In order to find a job for graduation, do a good job of endorsing resumes.

Because my English is still very dominant, I want to work in a foreign company in the future, and I prefer the tall working environment in a foreign company. My roommates also chose their own internship units. After the internship, let's summarize the characteristics of each unit:

1, foreign enterprise management.

Every post in a regular foreign company has its own process and scale, and what to do every day, to what extent, and how to meet the standards in every detail are stipulated. But if your foreign language is terrible now and your English has not even reached Band 4, I advise you not to go. If your goal is a foreign company, then don't waste your time internship in the other two types of enterprises.

2. State-owned enterprise learning system.

There are very few state-owned enterprises that turn internships into full members. Basically, they are large companies with complete system structure, numerous organizations and clear division of labor, which many foreign companies and private enterprises do not have.

If your future goal is to take an examination of civil servants or enter the system, then choosing to go to state-owned enterprises and knowing the working methods in advance will still add points for you to enter state-owned enterprises in the future.

3. Private enterprises learn workplace rules.

Private enterprises require comprehensive capabilities, and it is best to get started with everything. But if you practice in a private enterprise, you will learn the most. Choosing an internship depends on what you want to do in the future. For example, if you want to work on the Internet in the future, it is more suitable for domestic Internet companies. Joining the advanced enterprises in the industry will definitely be beneficial to your future career development.

Internship is actually a test process for you to enter the workplace, and everyone must take it seriously. Now let me tell you some matters needing attention during the internship:

1, get familiar with the environment and put into work.

To practice in an unfamiliar city, we must first understand the local situation, get familiar with the environment and get into work as soon as possible. To understand the situation of the unit, such as personnel, working procedures, rules and regulations, so as to carry out the work as soon as possible and effectively; It is necessary to understand the local economic and social situation, local customs and habits and some taboos in interpersonal communication, so as to ensure that you can integrate into the local society as soon as possible, be comfortable in work and interpersonal communication, and not offend people.

2. Learn to speak and be careful.

If you talk too much, you lose, and disaster comes from your mouth. These are all proven old sayings. So it is very important to do more and talk less in practice.

First, don't interrupt. No matter whether others call you or not, whether talking to you or others, you should pay attention to interrupting and don't talk nonsense.

Second, don't gossip. No matter where you are, no matter who you are with, don't talk about other people's right and wrong behind their backs, especially leaders. Be careful that walls have ears and get into trouble.

The third is not to participate in contradictions and disputes between leaders. Especially when leaders quarrel, it is best to avoid such occasions. If you really can't find a reason to leave, turn off the power in your ear. Don't act as a peacemaker at will, because you may not know the real reason for their quarrel at all, and it is easy to offend one of them by talking nonsense at this time.

3. Be modest and eager to learn, and work hard

Whether you come from a famous university or an ordinary college, you are the most humble in the internship unit, and you still have a lot to learn. Therefore, we must avoid arrogance and look down on the diploma as inferior to your teacher or even the doorman; Keep a modest and studious style, pretend to understand or even be opinionated about unfamiliar people, consult more instructors and other teachers, earnestly complete the tasks assigned by teachers, and never say "I can't do it" easily, let alone be picky and bargain. For really difficult tasks, you can undertake them first, and then quickly find your classmates to study them and see how to do them well.

Remember one thing here, if you really can't finish it, you should give feedback to the instructor in time and ask him to give advice and help. Never take the task and give feedback in time. If you can't get it out by then, it will affect the related work, make the instructor passive, and even be criticized by the unit leaders.

All of the above are my humble opinions, and you are welcome to add and correct them.
