Recommended Attractions in Yuntai Mountain Scenic Area
Red Stone Gorge
After driving for ten minutes, I arrived at the parking lot on the shore. I saw that the parking lot on the shore was really small and there were very few spaces. It was estimated that there might be dozens of cars across from the Yuntai Mountain Geology Museum.
Taking a car at the service area on the shore, I arrived at the Red Stone Gorge parking spot a few minutes later. Getting out of the car, the rain turned into drizzle. We prepared in advance, raincoats and umbrellas are armed, began our journey to Yuntai Mountain.
Entering the ticket gate, we stood on the bridge overlooking the canyon below the mountain. The underground canyon was exactly where we were headed. Here, we officially entered the entrance to the canyon and the rain was getting heavier. When you go down the mountain in the rain, you must be safe. Always make sure that you walk without looking at the scenery and look at the scenery without walking.
Touring the Red Stone Gorge, you will find the whole scenic area beautiful, quiet, majestic, precipitous, springs, waterfalls, streams, pools a valley, with the beauty of the Bonsai Canyon.
After crossing the Immortal's Bridge, there are many strange rocks, such as the Turtleback Rock, and rich natural landscapes. Just use your imagination and you will find that naming some of the strange rocks is very similar. As we walked through the canyon, the winding path was so narrow that only one person could walk slowly at the narrowest point. If you're not careful, you'll kiss the rocks and waterfalls in the canyon. It really is a silent painting with the sound of water. The silence here trumps the sound and it's beautiful.
Up and down the trestle, my feet slowly stopped and my eyes became busy. There was a painting between the mountains and the water, and I kept walking. In front of me, there was a vertical cliff wall with large and small waterfalls cascading down. The waterfall in the distance was really beautiful. I regretted forgetting to bring my DSLR. By the time I got here, I was basically done with the attractions of Red Rock Gorge, and was still some distance away from the ruins of Zifang Lake, from where I would pass by Wisteria.
This is the ovary staging area. Four kilometers away are the two Quimper Canyons, and ten kilometers away is Dogwood Peak. The downhill direction leads to the Baijiayan Visitor Center, which is also the starting point for the tour bus.
Cornus Peak
At the staging area, our group was negotiating a voluntary arrangement, taking into account the elderly and children. Those who don't want to climb the mountain can go to the Kiwi Valley and Tanpu Gorge, while our group of only six people climbed the mountain and chose to take the sightseeing bus to the main peak of Yuntai Mountain, Cornus Peak.
After half an hour, we arrived at the parking spot of Shan Zhu Peak. On both sides of the entrance to the scenic area, it was full of snacks and fast food. Our lunch was settled here.
: Warm Tips
1. The road to Shanju Peak is all a winding road, passing through the Folding Cave and a dozen of tunnels, which is basically a detour. So, if you get carsick, bring your own motion sickness medicine.
2. In the mountain dogwood peak scenic area, as long as one or two people can eat a meal, it is recommended to climb the mountain after the meal to replenish energy.
3. Do not worry about climbing. Shan Zhu Peak site more than 900 meters, the highest peak is less than 1300 meters. You only need to climb more than 300 meters.
4. When you enter the scenic area, the glass stack and the main peak are not on the same route, one left and one right. If you need to go to both, it is estimated to take more than half a day to plan your trip wisely.
After entering the scenic area, the statue in the center is Wang Wei, which reminds me of his poems.

This poem was written when Wang Wei was seventeen. At that time, he left his hometown of Zhoupu and traveled to Chang'an alone to seek an official position. Looking back at the Huixian Bridge, under the blue sky, green trees surround the red walls of the Taoist temple. The strongest color is the blue sky, is so dazzling. It took almost 50 minutes to reach the top of Jubaofeng Peak at 12:05, which is the highest elevation of Yuntai Mountain. Tan Puxia
It took us a little over an hour to reach Tan Cascade Gorge from the top of Kaunus Mountain, and it was now after 2pm. All sightseeing buses need to be changed at Zifang Lake Station to reach Tan Falls Gorge.
Spring Falls Gorge, Tan Falls Gorge and Kiwi Valley are the ticket gates. Entering the scenic area, we were y attracted by the beauty in front of us, known as the Little Nine Villages.

4. Spring Falls Gorge is three kilometers in length, and the scenic area has a battery car. But the battery car will only pull down half of the distance, the rest need to walk. Battery car round trip here to ten dollars. This attraction is the most spectacular of the Fengshui period.
5. Tanpu Gorge is two kilometers, many small attractions. It is called the "Little Nine Villages". When you come to the end, you will return by the same way.
Tanzhe Gorge in Yuntai Mountain, is second only to the Red Stone Gorge, another landscape, but also one of the must-visit attractions in Yuntai Mountain. Here is the Tanzhe Gorge pagoda, from where you can officially enter and start sightseeing.
Almost all the people who have been to Tanzhu Gorge and visited Yuntaishan will go to Red Stone Gorge, and more than half of them will go to Tanzhu Gorge, which proves that the beauty of Tanzhu Gorge is better than Quanzhu Gorge. The photos can prove everything.
When we walked into Tanzhe Gorge, it was the hottest time of the day. The hot sun and sometimes dry climate made us feel a little tired. After all, we had just climbed Cornas Peak, but as we walked into the gorge we immediately felt refreshed.
The old trees on either side of us and the breeze lifted our spirits. Walking between the valleys and upstream along the scenic trails, you can see the waterfalls and streams here, which are so soft and delicate that you can feel them with your heart, calming your mind and making the scenery even more beautiful.
This is the end of Tangpo Gorge, you need to return the same way. Across the street there is a wall called Longfengpi, which forms a U-shaped canyon. In front of and below the Longfeng Wall, there are many collapsed rocks, and the valley is full of fallen rocks.
We spent almost two hours at the Tamsui Gorge, not taking the same route, but taking the Emergency Passage, which is a fast track. Ten minutes later, we arrived at the entrance to the Tanfall Gorge and looked at the east side of the landscape, which resembled the Guilin mountains. What do you think?
The plaque on the left is the Spring Falls Gorge, and the trail in the mountains is the Spring Falls Gorge trail. It's not recommended to go between the dry season though. The waterfall has water or not, all depends on Shanxi.
Summary of the tour
For the Yuntai Mountain scenic area, it is recommended to visit for a day and a half. One day is quite intense. Although a few people in our group visited some of the best attractions in Yuntai Mountain, we were all physically and mentally exhausted, and the elderly and children could not be brought along. It consumed too much energy. I would like to share the itinerary of Yuntai Mountain with my donkey friends.
On the first day, if you spend half a day, you can go to Tanpu Gorge first and then see Yuntai Mountain at night. The two places are on the same line.
On the second day, you can go to Hongshi Gorge for about two hours, and then take a sightseeing bus to Shanju Peak. On the way down, you can go to Phoenix Ridge and play on the glass trestle. Personally, I don't think the glass trestle makes much sense.

Why do I think the Spring Falls Gorge is not among the highlights? Quanzhuaxia is a flying waterfall. Definitely the most spectacular in the rainy season, the dry season means little to me. The waterfalls say no, the Shanxi province still has to say.

1. The largest area of the Yuntai Mountain scenic area is the shore service area, which can basically meet the accommodation and catering at the same time. The main thing is that the price is affordable.
Advantages: close to the shore station, easy to take the sightseeing bus.
Disadvantages: some hotels can not park self-driving vehicles, too few parking spaces.
2. If you drive on the National Highway, you can stay in Qixian Town, a few kilometers south of Yuntai Mountain Scenic Area. There are many hotels here, which is convenient for self-driving cars to park.
Hotel accommodation
The starting point of the Yuntai Mountain sightseeing bus is the Baijiayan parking lot, and there are more stops in the scenic area. The shore and Zifang Lake parking lot are two transit stops in the scenic area.
1 Zifang Lake transfer station, the upstream can go to Yunxi Valley and Dogwood Peak, the downstream can go to the land transfer station and Baijiayan parking lot.

Internal Transportation
Bus: There are buses to Jiaozuo from Yuntai Mountain. The journey takes about an hour and the fare is four yuan.
Driving: all highways exit at Zheng Yun Expressway and Yuntai Mountain. It is recommended to drive to the Baijiayan parking lot, where there are many spaces. It is not recommended to go to the shore parking lot, where there are too few parking spaces.
010 to 1010, the South Highway and Jiguang Expressway convergence line nearly dozens of kilometers, due to highway widening speed limit of 80 kilometers.
2 Henan Xinxiang Hebao Expressway, emergency stops have police cars to shoot speeding, the territory of two cars, the speed limit of 120 is 80, there is no road or mountain road, be careful.
3 Self-driving vehicles try to park in the Baijiayan parking lot. Do not park on the shore. Unless you arrive at the shore parking lot before seven o'clock, it is difficult to find a parking space.
