Route 1: get off at the west exit of Beijing-Shenyang Expressway, continue northbound for 30km, cross Hebei Zhaozhuang Gas Station northbound 12km, reach Chagou Road Ban, and eastbound for 3km to reach Xichengyu Auxiliary Dam.

Bus route

Route 2: Take Beijing-Shenyang Expressway, then turn to Tang Cheng Expressway, go east in Banbi, pass Lanqiying, Sandaohe, Lishuwan and Chagou intersection, turn left, and go east for 3 kilometers to reach Xichengyu Auxiliary Dam. The journey takes about three and a half hours.
