Recently, the Ministry of Education, jointly with the National Health and Health Commission and other four departments issued the "Nutrition and Health School Construction Guidelines" to adapt to the needs of children and adolescents' growth and development, promote school nutrition and health, and standardize the school nutrition and health-related management behavior to make requirements.

The Guide specifies the scope of application, i.e., it applies to the construction of nutrition and health schools in full-time ordinary primary and secondary schools, and can be referred to by ordinary colleges and universities, secondary vocational schools, and kindergartens for the construction of nutrition and health schools.

The Guide specifies the main construction contents.

One is health education. Including the establishment of a sound health education system, expanding health education curriculum resources, clarifying the schedule of health education courses, equipped with full-time (part-time) health education teachers and regularly receive relevant training, and carry out various forms of thematic health education activities.

The second is food safety. Mainly including school canteens and off-campus feeding units to establish and improve the food safety management system, school canteens to implement the "kitchen bright stove" and meal system, the establishment of the relevant person in charge of the school to accompany the meal system and the parents to accompany the meal system and so on.

Third, meal nutritional protection. The type of food, cooking methods, full-time (part-time) nutritional guidance staff requirements for student meals.

Fourth, nutritional health monitoring. Including the establishment of a sound system of student health checkups, the establishment of student health records, feedback on the results of the checkups, and the proposal of targeted, effective and comprehensive intervention measures.

Fifth, the public **** health emergency response. mainly includes the establishment of public **** health incident reporting system, the development of school public **** health incident emergency response plan and procedures, to carry out school public **** health incident emergency response, prevention and control knowledge and skills publicity and training.

Sixth is the movement guarantee. on the student movement concept and method, school sports venues and facilities equipped with physical education, physical education class set, physical education teacher health education training and assessment and other provisions.

Seven is the construction of health environment. Including campus environmental hygiene, learning environment in line with the eye health requirements, provide students with free, sufficient, in line with health standards of white water or drinking water, equipped with hand-washing, disinfection facilities or supplies, the construction of a smoke-free campus and so on.
