The origin of the "Golden Bridge Award" is quite related. As early as the 1990s, in order to comprehensively enhance the overall brand awareness of China society, the Ministry of Internal Trade, the Ministry of Electronic Industry of the Economic and Trade Commission and the State Bureau of Technical Supervision jointly held the National Best-selling Domestic Commodities Fair, and selected the "Golden Bridge Award" several times in succession, which was even defined as a lofty honor of brand influence by business people. Due to the continuous promotion of "Golden Bridge Award" and the acceleration of domestic economic globalization, China brand has experienced four stages: consciousness enlightenment, brand creation, brand competition and brand internationalization.
Departments in charge of science and technology of provinces (cities), relevant ministries and commissions of the State Council, departments of science and technology of directly affiliated institutions, departments of science and technology of industry authorities and relevant associations are referees for Jinqiao Award, and are responsible for recommending collectives, individuals and projects that meet the award conditions to the Jinqiao Award Review Committee.
