Jianshui Fudong Temple is a cultural tourist attraction.

Fudong Temple is located at No.62 Taishixiang Street, Jianshui County, Honghe Prefecture, near Little Gui Hu. It was built before Jiajing in Ming Dynasty and rebuilt in the 28th year of Guangxu in Qing Dynasty (1902).

Fudong Temple is as famous as Gui Hu because of the residence of Yang Sheng 'an, the top scholar in Jiajing period of Ming Dynasty. In the 24th year of Guangxu reign in Qing Dynasty (1898), the magistrate of Lin 'an also carved the stone statue of An on the stone tablet of Fudong Temple and wrote a poem. Now it is the only stone statue of Yang Shengan in Yunnan.

Yang Shen (1488- 1559), a native of Xindu, Sichuan (now Xindu District, Chengdu), was the son of Yang Tinghe, a famous prime minister in the Ming Dynasty, and was called one of the three great talents in the Ming Dynasty. Yang Shen 19 years old was promoted to Sichuan after having obtained the provincial examination, and at the age of 24, he was chosen to enter the palace for the examination. He was the only scholar in Sichuan in the Ming Dynasty.
