Maoming has three nonmetallic mineral resources: kaolin, oil shale and calcium carbonate, all of which are owned by us. The company has six kaolin mining lines with an annual output of more than 250,000 tons. Kaolin resources in our company are pseudo-hexagonal flake structure, which has the characteristics of good crystallization, low viscosity, high whiteness, less impurities, fine natural particle size and high order, and plays an irreplaceable role in paper coating process. This characteristic of kaolin products helps to improve the gloss, smoothness, opacity and whiteness of paper, and also helps to improve the ink absorption ability and printing adaptability of paper, making it famous in the paper industry. It has been proved by research that the kaolin mine of our company is very similar to the kaolin mine in Georgia, USA, and it is the only ore body in China that can replace imported soil for papermaking at present. With the continuous development of papermaking industry, papermaking coating equipment changes with each passing day, and the coating speed develops by leaps and bounds. In order to meet the market demand, the company's newly put into operation 60,000 tons/year spray drying production line adopts the advanced domestic equipment and technology, and is specially designed for top coating and bottom coating in the paper industry, especially for MSH96 1 grade products, with viscosity of 500mPa.s, viscosity exceeding 7 1.0% and particle size content of-1UM76544. The particle size content of -2um is above 96%, the content of -6um is 100%, the PH value is 5 ~ 7, and the whiteness is above 87.0%. It can be mixed with calcium carbonate in various proportions and has good compatibility. Mixed pigments have good rheological properties and viscosity stability. The performance of the product has reached the domestic advanced level, which can replace imported products in coating application and is suitable for coating pigments of high-grade coated paper and whiteboard paper. In 2006, the company implemented and completed the expansion and transformation project of kaolin production line again. At this point, the company's annual production capacity of kaolin has expanded to 300,000 tons. Among them, spray-dried dry powder (MSH series): MSH9610.2 million tons, MSH9010.2 million tons, MSH8010.3 million tons (* * * 70,000 tons/year); Packaging grade dry powder (SD series) 30,000 tons/year; Shovel (SA) 40,000 tons/year; Air-knife clay series (SC) is 60,000 tons/year, and ceramic series kaolin is 65,438+10,000 tons/year. According to the geological report of Guangdong province (1979), the geological reserves of oil shale in Jintang mining area of our company are 92 1, 55 1 1,000 tons, and the conservative reserves are 850.352 million tons. The mineral reserves at-80m above sea level are about 535 million tons. Therefore, our company has the unique conditions to develop the comprehensive utilization of oil shale. The company is the first super-large oil shale mining enterprise in China and the largest self-built shale oil production enterprise in China. The oil shale owned by our company has the characteristics of high oil content, good occurrence conditions, large calorific value, easy exploitation and long exploitation time. It is an industry supported by national policies, and it is a widely used industrial fuel and raw material, which can be directly used to produce artificial oil and can also be used as boiler fuel. The slag after refining and combustion can be directly used as cement filler, lightweight brick and other building materials, with great comprehensive utilization potential. Using international advanced technology and national industrial support policies, the company commissioned Fushun Mining Bureau Design Institute to design a shale refining unit with an annual output of 60,000 tons and a power plant with an annual output of 2× 50,000 kilowatts.

Third, calcium carbonate.

The company owns calcium carbonate ore 15 square kilometers with a reserve of 3 billion tons. The marble deposit in the mining area is huge, shallow buried and thin covered with soil, which can be mined in the open pit. The raw marble ore contains 95.54 ~ 98.50% of calcium carbonate, 0.27 ~ 0.60% of magnesium oxide, 0.02 ~ 0.28% of iron oxide, 0.2 1 ~ 0.80% of silicon oxide, 0.0 1 ~ 0.07% of sulfur oxide, and the natural whiteness is greater than 95%. The ore has medium-grained, medium-coarse-grained, medium-fine-grained metamorphic structure, which is a high-quality calcium carbonate raw material and meets the quality requirements of various calcium carbonate products. According to the market demand and production technology, the company will take Wenlou Town, Huazhou City, where the calcium carbonate mine is located, as the first-level processing base of products, and Jintang Mining Industrial Park as the second-level deep processing base. Estimated production project and scale of heavy calcium carbonate: 350,000 tons/year of Shuangfei powder; Fine heavy calcium carbonate is 654.38+0.5 million tons/year. Products are mainly used as fillers in plastics, rubber, building materials, coatings and other industries, as well as daily chemicals, rubber, paper, medicine and so on. The ore in calcium carbonate mining area has uniform color and high whiteness, and the lime-sand brick is finished.

In response to the national policy of prohibiting the use of solid clay bricks, saving land and energy resources and protecting the ecological environment, our company makes full use of tailings resources and invests in the construction of lime-sand brick production lines. Production of autoclaved lime-sand brick silicate brick, referred to as lime-sand brick, is a new wall material. It is a new wall material, which takes lime and sand as the main raw materials, adds certain wastes or other grinding AIDS, and is aged by batching, pressed and molded, and then cured by high temperature and high pressure steam. It has the characteristics of high strength, small shrinkage, good durability, elegant color, small size deviation, water resistance and wear resistance. It can be used as load-bearing wall and filler wall, and has been widely used in industrial and civil buildings. Tested by Maoming Quality Metrology Supervision and Inspection Institute, Guangdong Province, the quality of this product fully meets the requirements of GB11945-1999Mu10 standard.

Second, scrap metal scrap metal recycling raw materials

The company is also a new enterprise committed to environmental protection. In 2004, it was approved by the State Environmental Protection Administration as a designated unit for the import, processing and utilization of waste hardware. The waste hardware factory now covers an area of 30,000 square meters, with a building area of 15000 square meters. More than 50 sets of various supporting equipment, with an annual sorting capacity of 40,000-50,000 tons. The company imports all kinds of metal scrap from the United States, Europe and other places, and supplies it as raw materials to domestic enterprises with different needs after physical processing such as disassembly and classification.
