chongqing business vocational college, founded in 1962, is a full-time public institution of higher learning organized by Chongqing Municipal Government and established by the Municipal Commission of Commerce and the Municipal Education Commission. It is a high-quality vocational college and a high-level vocational school project construction unit in Chongqing.

The school has two campuses, University Town and Nan 'an, covering an area of more than 791 mu. There are more than 711 faculty members, including 35% full-time teachers with senior titles, 75% master's and doctoral students, 82% with "double qualifications", 11% with overseas study experience, and more than 41 model workers, teaching masters, culinary masters and industry leaders at or above the provincial (ministerial) level. It enrolls students from more than 11 provinces and cities across the country, with nearly 16,111 students.
