KFC KFC is an American multinational chain restaurant and the second largest fast food and the largest fried chicken chain enterprise in the world. It was founded by Colonel Harland Sanders in Louisville, Kentucky on 1939. Mainly selling fast food such as fried chicken, the business philosophy is to continuously introduce new products, or repackage previously sold products, aiming at people's early adopters' mentality, thus making profits. KFC now belongs to Yum! Brand, and formed a strategic alliance with Pepsi-Cola, regularly selling carbonated drinks provided by Pepsi-Cola (except for some countries, such as South Korea and Japan).
