It took them about two and a half years from taking over the project to product proofing, which is very rare in packaging design. Sarah Pidgeon is a partner of Horse, a British design studio. Before the establishment of the studio, she had participated in the product packaging design of Nongfu Spring many times, but what really made her studio famous was the latest cooperation between the two parties-the packaging design of Nongfu Spring glass bottled water.

Appearance change

At the beginning of 20 15, Nongfu Spring introduced glass bottled water. Droplet-shaped glass bottles are painted with typical animal and plant images of Changbai Mountain, a water source, with related graphics and text descriptions. These figures have a special meaning behind them. This two-year mineral water packaging design almost won all the important awards in the field of packaging design in 20 15, including the international food and beverage outstanding creative award D&; Advertising award, five awards of international packaging design award, and annual award of packaging design media The Dieline.

At the same time, Nongfu Spring began to appear in high-end restaurants, forums and conferences, and was also sold through e-commerce websites. The price of 750ml product in 45 yuan is higher than all bottled water products in China. At present, such beautifully packaged and expensive mineral water is really unusual among domestic bottled drinking water products. This package shows us a mineral water that we can't afford!
