In order to cope with the increasing passenger flow and enhance passenger satisfaction, Beijing Capital International Airport has actively coordinated and optimized its resources, and starting from April 18, 2013, some of Air China's domestic flights in T3 will be adjusted to operate in Beijing Capital International Airport's Terminal 3 D (hereinafter referred to as "T3-D").
Adjustment of Resources in T3-D After that, T3 will have 14 more near domestic flights, which can effectively increase the bridge-dependent rate of domestic flights in T3, reduce the number of flights parked at far-away flights, and ensure that domestic flight passengers enjoy the high-quality resources in the building, thus enhancing the passengers' experience of flying.
Terminal 3 at Beijing Capital Airport consists of T3-C (domestic), T3-D (part of Air China's domestic), and T3-E (international/Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan). During the Olympic Games, T3-D had served the Beijing Olympic and Paralympic Games chartered flights protection. T3-D is located between T3-C and T3-E, occupies an area of about 30,650 square meters,*** has four floors, the third floor is the passenger inbound level, including food and beverage outlets, and two-cabin lounges; the second floor is the passenger outbound level, including commercial outlets, and a variety of passenger service facilities; the first floor is the passenger security site and transit area; the underground The first floor is the passenger rapid transit (hereinafter referred to as "mini-train") platform.
Let the colors lead the way for passengers
Usually, passengers taking flights in T3 only need to distinguish whether they are international/Hong Kong, Macao, Taiwan flights or domestic flights, and after this adjustment, some of Air China's domestic flights have been adjusted to operate in T3-D, so how can passengers taking Air China's flights distinguish where they should board the plane? After passengers arrive at Terminal 3 of Beijing Capital Airport to check in for their trip, they can follow the signs in the building along the way to the boarding gate according to the instructions of the airline check-in staff and boarding passes. There is a very easy way to differentiate by color: after checking in, passengers can follow the boarding gate on their boarding passes to differentiate which area they are going to C\D\E to board their flights. After checking in, passengers can follow the boarding gate on their boarding passes to distinguish which area they are going to board at C\D\E. In addition to distinguishing between the different areas according to the letters on the boarding passes, there is a more intuitive way to distinguish between the different areas according to their colors. To T3-C boarding area, follow the blue guide signs, T3-D is green, and T3-E is yellow. Capital Airport has set up obvious signs at key points in the passenger departure process, such as the domestic, international/Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan departure diversion post on the fourth floor, displaying the boarding gate numbers of the three areas and the color differentiation, which allows passengers to see at a glance and depart accurately.
"Small train" brings new feelings
When passengers quickly pass through the self-service gate system, they can take the "small train" to T3-D and T3-E. Capital Airport's "small train" is driverless and travels through the entire airport.
Travelers can be reminded of the location of the arrival station through the radio and LED display in the carriages when taking the small train. Capital Airport in order to prevent passengers from traveling to the wrong station, in the "small train" car with LED arrival display, through the LED lights dynamically show the distance from the platform, in order to strengthen the function of guidance to the passengers.
At the same time, in the platform and the car will have a radio prompt statement to remind travelers. If it is a domestic flight to choose the first station to get off, if it is an international / Hong Kong, Macao, Taiwan flights will choose to get off at the second station, in addition, in the original Chinese and English bilingual broadcast on the basis of the addition of the three languages of Korea, Japan, Russia. In addition, in the "small train" platform, security check hall, we also deployed additional service personnel to provide quality service for the first time for the need of passengers.
Technology makes us more convenient
Capital Airport has installed a self-service gate system at the boarding pass checkpoint in the departure hall on the fourth floor of Terminal 3, with 12 self-service gate channels. Passengers traveling on domestic flights to boarding gates C01-C61 can pass through the equipment on the east and west sides of the domestic departure channel; passengers traveling to boarding gates D01-D14 for domestic flights, and E01-E62 for international/hong Kong flights can pass through the equipment on the east and west sides. Passengers traveling to gates D01-D14 for domestic flights and gates E01-E62 for international/Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan flights can pass through the middle departure lanes.
Passengers only need to prepare their boarding passes in advance and scan them face up against the designated spot on the scanning machine on the right side of the channel to pass through quickly. If the channel is wrong, the gate will alarm the passenger, who then needs to check whether the boarding gate is the same as the instructions above the channel, or ask staff for help.
In the future, Capital Airport will also continue to introduce new technologies and products to bring travelers a fresher and more convenient experience.
