Address: South of Hulan District, north bank of Songhua River, Hulan River Estuary.
At present, it is one of the largest wetland parks around China, bordering Shuangjing Town, Tai Fang Town and Yanglin Town in the north and Huangtu Town, Juyuan Town and Tang Fang Town in Bin County across the river in the south. There are 465 species of higher plants belonging to 227 genera and 67 families in this wetland, including 2 species of pteridophytes belonging to 2 families and 463 species of seed plants, accounting for 28.28% of the total plants in Heilongjiang Province. There are 6 classes, 36 orders, 77 families 193 genera and 348 species of vertebrates, including roundmouth, fish, amphibians, reptiles, birds and mammals. Among them, three species listed as national first-class key protected species are birds, such as oriental stork and red-crowned crane. There are 27 species (including 25 species of birds) such as swan, white-naped crane and mandarin duck under the second-class protection of the state. There are other species listed in CITES appendix, such as snow wolf, needle-tailed duck, Baikal water duck, white-browed duck, Yellow weasel, and 48 endangered species such as white spoonbill. Wetland is rich in biological resources and will become a valuable wetland species bank and gene bank in China.
