14 night, the General Political Department of the Military Commission held a victory meeting in David. Zhou Enlai presided over the meeting, and Zhu De delivered an important speech. The cadres and soldiers sang the song of the two main forces written by Lu in chorus. The party lasted until late at night. Many soldiers got sick when crossing the Jin Jia Mountains, and got rest and treatment in David, and recovered.

Today, there is still a small wooden bridge on the Wori River, 300 meters east of the old street in Dawei Township. This wooden bridge was built in the Republic of China, with a length of13.8m and a width of 2.8m. It is the David Bridge.
