I. Clothing

1. Buy less unnecessary clothes.

Clothing consumes a lot of energy in the process of production, processing and transportation, and at the same time produces pollutants such as waste gas and wastewater. On the premise of ensuring the needs of life, each person can save about 2.5 kilograms of standard coal and reduce 6.4 kilograms of carbon dioxide. If 25 million people in China do this every year, it can save about 62,500 tons of standard coal and reduce 6,543,800 tons of carbon dioxide.

2. Stay in a hotel to reduce the number of times you change sheets.

Wash sheets, quilts, etc. Consumption of water, electricity and washing powder, less washing can save 0.03 degrees of electricity, save water 13 liter, 22.5 grams of washing powder and 50 grams of carbon dioxide. If 8880 star-rated hotels in China (data in 2002) adopt the proposal of "green room" standard (changing sheets once every three days), it can comprehensively save about 6,543,800 tons of standard coal and reduce 40,000 tons of carbon dioxide emissions every year.

Step 3 Wash clothes in an energy-saving way

(1) Wash clothes by hand once a month.

With the improvement of people's material living standards, washing machines have entered thousands of households. Although the washing machine brings great help to life, only two or three clothes are washed by machine, which will cause waste of water and electricity. If hand washing is used instead of machine washing once a month, each washing machine can save about 1.4 kg of standard coal every year, and correspondingly reduce carbon dioxide by 3.6 kg. If all the 65.438 billion washing machines in China are used less once a month, about 260,000 tons of standard coal and 684,000 tons of carbon dioxide can be saved every year.

(2) Use less 1kg washing powder every year.

Washing powder is a necessity, but it is often wasted in use; Rational use can save energy and reduce emissions. For example, using less 1 kg washing powder can save about 0.28 kg of standard coal and reduce 0.72 kg of carbon dioxide accordingly. If China's 390 million households use less 1 kg of washing powder every year on average, 1 year can save about109,000 tons of standard coal and reduce 28 1 10,000 tons of carbon dioxide.

(3) Choose an energy-saving washing machine

Compared with ordinary washing machines, energy-saving washing machines save 50% electricity and 60% water. Each energy-saving washing machine can save about 3.7 kilograms of standard coal every year, and correspondingly reduce carbon dioxide emissions by 9.4 kilograms. If 10% of ordinary washing machines in China are upgraded to energy-saving washing machines every year, about 70,000 tons of standard coal can be saved and carbon dioxide178,000 tons can be reduced.

Second, food.

Step 4 Reduce food waste

"Who knows that every grain is hard", but now the phenomenon of wasting food is still serious. If 0.5 kg of grain is wasted (taking rice as an example), energy can be saved by about 0. 18 kg of standard coal, and carbon dioxide can be reduced by 0.47 kg accordingly. If the national per capita reduces grain waste by 0.5 kg per year, it can save energy by about 24 1 10,000 tons of standard coal and reduce carbon dioxide emissions by 610.2 million tons per year.

5. Reduce the waste of livestock products

Each person wastes less than 0.5 kg of pork every year, which can save about 0.28 kg of standard coal and reduce 0.7 kg of carbon dioxide. If the waste of pork is reduced by 0.5 kg per capita every year in China, about 353,000 tons of standard coal can be saved every year, and the carbon dioxide emission can be reduced by 9 1. 1.00 million tons.

Moderate drinking

(1) Drink less beer every month in summer.

The heat is unbearable, and beer has become a popular drink, but "drinking too much" happens from time to time. For three months in summer, the average monthly consumption of 1 bottle and 1 person can save about 0.23 kg of standard coal and reduce 0.6 kg of carbon dioxide. Nationally, it can save about 297,000 tons of standard coal and reduce 780,000 tons of carbon dioxide emissions every year.

(2) Drinking less than 0.5 kg of liquor every year.

Liquor enriched life and made the splendid wine culture of the Chinese nation. However, being drunk can easily lead to accidents. If 1 person drinks less than 0.5 kg in 1 year, about 0.4 kg of standard coal can be saved, and the corresponding carbon dioxide emission reduction is 1 kg. If the average annual consumption of 200 million "drinkers" in China is less than 0.5 kg, about 80,000 tons of standard coal can be saved and 200,000 tons of carbon dioxide emissions can be reduced.

7. Reduce smoking

Smoking is harmful to health and cigarette production consumes energy. 1 day if you smoke less 1 cigarette, you can save about 0. 14 kg of standard coal per person per year, and correspondingly reduce 0.37 kg of carbon dioxide. If all the 350 million smokers in China do this, about 50,000 tons of standard coal and 6,543.8+0.3 million tons of carbon dioxide can be saved every year.

Third, live.

8. Energy-saving decoration

(1) Reduce aluminum for decoration.

Aluminum is one of the most energy-consuming metal smelting products. Reducing aluminum 1 kg for decoration can save about 9.6 kg of standard coal and correspondingly reduce 24.7 kg of carbon dioxide. If about 20 million households in China can do this every year, it can save about 19 10000 tons of standard coal and reduce carbon dioxide emissions by 494,000 tons.

(2) Reduce the use of decoration steel bars.

Steel is one of the most commonly used materials for residential decoration, and steel production is also a big consumer of energy consumption and carbon emissions. Reducing decoration steel 1 kg can save about 0.74 kg of standard coal and reduce carbon dioxide 1.9 kg accordingly. If about 20 million households in China can do this every year, it will save about10.4 million tons of standard coal and reduce carbon dioxide emissions by 38 thousand tons.

(3) Reduce the amount of wood used for decoration.

Appropriately reducing the use of decorative wood can not only protect forests, increase carbon dioxide absorption, but also reduce energy consumption during wood processing and transportation. Using less 0. 1 m3 of wood for decoration can save about 25 kilograms of standard coal and reduce 64.3 kilograms of carbon dioxide. If about 20 million households in China can do this every year, it will save about 500,000 tons of standard coal and reduce 6,543,800 tons of carbon dioxide.

(4) Reduce the use of building ceramics.

Using ceramics in home decoration can make the house more beautiful. But it also produces waste, and some families even have luxury decoration. Saving building ceramics 1 m2 can save about 6 kilograms of standard coal, and correspondingly reduce carbon dioxide 15.4 kilograms. If about 20 million households in China can do this every year, it will save about 6,543,800 tons of energy and reduce 308,000 tons of carbon dioxide.

9. Use energy-saving bricks in rural houses.

Compared with clay brick, energy-saving brick has the advantages of saving land and energy, and is a superior new building material. Promoting the use of energy-saving bricks in rural areas has broad prospects for energy conservation and emission reduction. Using energy-saving bricks to build 1 rural houses can save about 5.7 tons of standard coal, and correspondingly reduce carbon dioxide emissions 14.8 tons. If 10% of newly-built houses in rural areas are replaced by energy-saving bricks every year, about 8.6 million tons of standard coal and 2210.2 million tons of carbon dioxide emissions can be saved nationwide.

10. Rational use of air conditioners

(1) In summer, the air conditioning temperature is raised on the basis of national advocacy 1℃.

In hot summer, air conditioning can bring people a cool feeling. However, air conditioning is a kind of electrical appliance that consumes a lot of electricity. The lower the set temperature, the more energy is consumed. In fact, replacing long sleeves with short sleeves, changing suits into casual clothes, changing ties into loose collars, and properly raising the temperature of air conditioners will not affect comfort, but also save energy and reduce emissions. If each air conditioner is increased by 1℃ on the basis of 26℃ advocated by the state, it can save 22 degrees of electricity every year, and correspondingly reduce carbon dioxide emissions by 2 1 kg. If this measure is taken for 65.438+0.5 billion air conditioners in China, it can save about 3.3 billion kWh of electricity and reduce carbon dioxide emissions by 36.5438+0.7 million tons every year.

(2) Choose energy-saving air conditioners.

An energy-saving air conditioner consumes 0.24 kWh less electricity per hour than ordinary air conditioners. According to the conservative estimation of annual use 100 hour, it can save electricity by 24 kWh, and correspondingly reduce carbon dioxide emissions by 23 kg. If 10% air conditioners in China are updated to energy-saving air conditioners every year, it will save about 360 million kWh and reduce carbon dioxide emissions by 350,000 tons.

(3) Turn off the air conditioner a few minutes before going out.

The temperature of an air-conditioned room will not rise immediately because the air conditioner is turned off. Turn off the air conditioner 3 minutes before going out. According to the conservative estimate that each unit can save about 5 degrees of electricity every year, the corresponding carbon dioxide emission reduction is 4.8 kilograms. If this measure is taken for 65.438+0.5 billion air conditioners in China, it will save about 750 million kWh and reduce carbon dioxide emissions by 720,000 tons every year.

1 1. Rational use of electric fans

Although air conditioners are becoming more and more popular in our families, the number of electric fans is still huge. The power consumption of electric fans is proportional to the rotating speed of blades, and the power consumption difference between the fastest gear and the slowest gear of the same electric fan is about 40%. Most of the time, the medium and low wind speed is enough to meet the demand of enjoying the cool.

Take a 60-watt electric fan as an example. If you use medium and low speed, you can save about 2.4 degrees of electricity and 2.3 kilograms of carbon dioxide. If this measure is taken for about 470 million electric fans in China, it will save about165438+300 million kwh each year and reduce carbon dioxide emissions1080,000 tons.

12. Reasonable heating

By adjusting heating time and intensity, adopting separate heating valves and other measures, each household can save about 326 kilograms of standard coal every year, and correspondingly reduce carbon dioxide emissions by 837 kilograms. If northern towns 10% households complete heating renovation every year, the country can save about 3 million tons of standard coal and reduce 7.7 million tons of carbon dioxide emissions every year.

13. solar energy heating is used for rural housing.

Solar energy is an important clean energy source in China. A rural house with passive solar heating can save about 0.8 tons of standard coal every year, and correspondingly reduce carbon dioxide emissions by 2. 1 ton. If passive solar heating is used in 10% of newly-built houses in rural areas of China every year, it can save about 65438+200,000 tons of standard coal and reduce 3.084 million tons of carbon dioxide.

14. Adopt energy-saving household lighting.

(1) Household lighting is changed to energy-saving lamps.

Replacing incandescent lamps with high-quality energy-saving lamps can not only reduce power consumption, but also improve lighting effect. If 1 165438 energy-saving lamp is used instead of 60-watt incandescent lamp, and it is illuminated for 4 hours every day, then 1 energy-saving lamp can save electricity by about 7 1.5 kWh per year, and correspondingly reduce carbon dioxide emissions by 68.6 kg. According to conservative estimates, replacing incandescent lamps 1 100 million lamps every year in China can save electricity by 71500 million kwh and reduce carbon dioxide emissions by 6.86 million tons.

(2) Turn off the lights at home.

Develop the good habit of turning off the lights at home, each household can save about 4.9 kwh of electricity every year, and correspondingly reduce carbon dioxide emissions by 4.7 kg. If 390 million households in the country can do it, it can save electricity by about 65.438+96 million kWh and reduce carbon dioxide emissions by 65.438+0.88 million tons every year.

15. adopt energy-saving public lighting.

(1) Increase the natural lighting in public places.

If all the shopping malls, conference centers and other public places in the country are all illuminated by natural light during the day, the electricity consumption can be saved by about 82 billion kWh. Even if only 10% people do this, 8.2 billion kwh of electricity can be saved every year, and 7.87 million tons of carbon dioxide emissions can be reduced accordingly.

(2) Semiconductor lamps are used for public lighting.

Under the same brightness, the power consumption of semiconductor lamps is only one tenth of that of incandescent lamps, but their life span is 100 times that of incandescent lamps. If 10% of the traditional light sources in China are replaced by semiconductor lamps every year, it can save about 9 billion kWh of electricity and reduce 8.64 million tons of carbon dioxide emissions.

Fourth, ok

16. Drive one day less every month.

If you drive less than one day a month, each car can save about 44 liters of fuel every year, and correspondingly reduce carbon dioxide emissions by 98 kilograms. If the owners of 6.5438+0.248 million private cars in China do it, they can save about 554 million liters of fuel and reduce carbon dioxide emissions by 6.5438+0.22 million tons every year.

17. Energy-saving travel 200 kilometers

Riding a bike or walking instead of driving 100 km can save about 9 liters of fuel; 100 km travel, using buses instead of cars can save five-sixths of fuel. Driving 200 kilometers in this way can reduce gasoline consumption 16.7 liters per person, and correspondingly reduce carbon dioxide emissions by 36.8 kilograms. If the owners of 6.5438+0.248 million private cars in China do this, they can save 2.65438+0 million liters of fuel and 460,000 tons of carbon dioxide every year.

18. Buy a small-displacement car

The fuel consumption of a car usually increases with the increase of exhaust volume. Compared with a 2.0-liter car, a car with a displacement of 1.3 liter can save 294 liters of fuel and 647 kilograms of carbon dioxide. If the exhaust volume of newly sold cars (about 3,828,900 vehicles) in China is reduced by 0. 1 liter on average, it can save fuel/kloc-0. 60 billion liters and reduce carbon dioxide emissions by 354,000 tons.

19. Buy a hybrid car

Hybrid electric vehicles can save more than 30% fuel, and each ordinary vehicle can save about 378 liters of fuel every year, thus reducing carbon dioxide emissions by 832 kilograms. If the sales volume of hybrid electric vehicles accounts for 65,438+00% of the annual sales volume of automobiles in China (about 383,000 vehicles), it can save 654,384+450,000 liters of fuel and reduce 365,438+8,000 tons of carbon dioxide emissions every year.

20. Use the car scientifically and pay attention to maintenance.

Poor car condition will lead to a great increase in fuel consumption, and engine idling will also consume a lot of fuel. By changing the air filter in time, keeping the proper tire pressure and turning off the engine in time, the fuel consumption of each vehicle can be reduced by about 180 liters per year, and the carbon dioxide emission can be reduced by 400 kilograms accordingly. If the engine idle speed of 6.5438+0.248 million private cars in China is reduced by 3-5 minutes every day, and the condition of 654.38+00% cars is improved, 600 million liters of fuel can be saved and 6.5438+0.3 million tons of carbon dioxide can be reduced every year.
