Social wage is short for the average wage of social workers, usually refers to the average wage of all the workers in a certain area in a certain period of time (usually one year) divided by the number of workers in the period, which is obtained by the ratio of the total wage of all the workers in the range to the average number of workers in the period. It is usually published by the government based on the previous year. Legal basis
Article 49 of the Labor Law of the People's Republic of China determines and adjusts the minimum wage standard with reference to the following factors: (a) the minimum cost of living for the worker himself and the average number of people he is supporting; (b) the average level of wages in the society; (c) the productivity of the labor force; (d) the situation of the employment; and (e) the differences in the level of economic development between the regions.
