What is it like to work at McDonald's? Full time and part time both?
To summarize, there is one word, tired. I'm from Shanghai, and although it's not downtown, it's still a busy area, and the traffic, especially on Sunday evenings, can be quite predictable. Four hours all in wiping the table, collect garbage, take out the garbage, wipe the dinner plate, hand the dinner plate, mopping, sweeping, anyway, are the most tired work. There was hardly any stopping, running around the store for four hours. After two hours my feet couldn't take it anymore, I think it was stewed pig's feet if I had to make a hard analogy. But there was no rest, not even to sit down, and I didn't even take a sip of water for four hours, let alone sit down. I'm not saying it's bad, but I think it's good for the students, and me, to get an early taste of what it's like to work alone. You see all kinds of people here. Fathers or mothers with their kids, a bunch of middle-aged moms in a group, or girlfriends having dinner.
