People's governments at all levels shall take overall responsibility for food safety in their respective jurisdictions and supervise relevant departments.
The Municipal Agriculture Committee is responsible for the supervision of the production of primary agricultural products. Responsible for the supervision and management of food business entities, investigate and deal with illegal acts of unlicensed food business units according to law, investigate and deal with illegal acts of adulteration, counterfeiting and selling "three noes" and other unqualified foods according to law, organize the implementation of food quality supervision and spot checks in the circulation field, and accept complaints and reports from consumers on illegal acts and cases in the food circulation field.
The Municipal Service Commission is responsible for reviewing the market access qualification of grain purchase, supervising and inspecting the operators of edible grain processing, and shall not use the packaging materials that deteriorate and pollute the raw grain and do not meet the quality and hygiene standards, and supervise the slaughtering activities of livestock and poultry and the liquor market.
The U.S. Food and Drug Administration is responsible for the licensing and supervision of the catering industry, canteens and other consumer sectors and the operation of health food, and investigates and deals with illegal acts of catering services, canteens and health food operations according to law.
The Municipal Economic and Information Committee is responsible for the supervision of the designated salt production enterprises and salt transportation in our city, and the municipal salt inspection detachment supervises and manages the salt market.
City Project Construction Committee is responsible for the supervision and management of food safety on construction sites, and inspect the implementation of food safety measures on construction sites. It is strictly forbidden to provide food in the canteen of the construction site without obtaining the Catering Service Permit.
The Municipal Administrative Law Enforcement Bureau is responsible for banning unauthorized street corners, lane occupation and food processing.
The Municipal Health Bureau shall exercise the comprehensive supervision function of food safety management according to law, organize and coordinate relevant departments to undertake food safety supervision, organize the investigation and handling of major food safety accidents, and be responsible for the daily work of the Office of the Municipal Food Safety Committee.
