Shenzhen Wang Di Building, located in Luohu District, Shenzhen, is also known as Xinxing Plaza Shenzhen Wang Di Commercial Building. The architectural scheme was designed by Chinese-American architect Zhang, a super-high-rise complex integrating office and business, which was a national key project in the early 1990s.

The building was completed in March 1996. It was an important landmark building in Shenzhen Special Economic Zone in the mid-1990s and the tallest building in China at that time.

The name of "Wang Di" comes from its unique geographical location: the plot is located in the golden triangle where Shennan East Road, Baoan South Road and Jiefang Middle Road meet, and is praised as the king of investment by the real estate industry.

Architectural model

Shenzhen Wang Di Mansion is a multifunctional modern commercial building integrating multifunctional office building, business center, hotel-style, commercial and residential, finance, shopping, catering and entertainment, covering an area of 6,543,800 square meters and a total construction area of 267,000 square meters.

The whole building is divided into three parts: the main building is a 68-story office building, and the facade consists of two cylindrical towers. The annex building is a 33-story hotel-style commercial residence with a height of120m. The shape of the building is overlapped and staggered by two plates, and a huge doorway in the middle runs through the north and south of the building, forming a strange landscape with rich changes. A five-story shopping platform connects two main bodies.

The lobby on the ground floor of the main building of Wang Di Building of Shenzhen Stock Exchange is 35 meters high and will be used as the business hall of banks and post and telecommunications institutions. There are no columns on each floor of the 68th floor office building, which is convenient and flexible to separate. There are 332 luxury apartment units in the annex commercial residence.
