In the United Kingdom, you can always see people pouring bottles of used cooking oil into large trash cans at recycling centers. This action is the British government developed a catering waste oil recycling program. Most residential areas in the United Kingdom, there is a large blue waste oil collection bin. According to the London municipal environmental affairs officer Baradei introduced, this is a special recycling of household waste oil, nearby neighborhoods can be used by the residents of their own waste oil collected in glass bottles, uniformly poured in the barrel. The barrel can store 1,000 liters of oil. Above the drum, a filter is installed to facilitate residents to filter food residues. At present, there are three ways to deal with waste oil from the catering industry in the UK: pouring the waste oil into containers issued by the government free of charge; collecting it again by a government-approved company; and ultimately processing the oil into products such as bio-diesel that can be utilized. Regardless of the quantity, kitchen waste oil, grease and fats are not allowed to be poured into the sinks, or a hefty fine will be imposed.
