Jiangsu Food and Drug Vocational and Technical College is a junior college, not an undergraduate school. Of course, it's not a few universities. A few books are just folk sayings. Jiangsu Food and Drug Vocational and Technical College is a full-time ordinary college sponsored by Jiangsu Provincial People's Government and supervised by Jiangsu Provincial Department of Education. It is a national model (backbone) vocational college, a high-level vocational college with China characteristics and a professional construction unit, a national high-quality vocational college, a high-level vocational college construction unit in Jiangsu Province, the first batch of modern apprenticeship pilot colleges of the Ministry of Education, the "Pilot Project of Accumulation and Transformation of Learning Achievements in Higher Vocational Schools" of the Ministry of Education, a support unit of the National Natural Science Foundation, and the first batch of national model vocational education groups (alliances) training units. It is the sponsor and permanent secretary-general unit of China Food and Drug Vocational Education Alliance, the chairman unit of Jiangsu Food Vocational Education Group, the vice-chairman unit of Jiangsu Food Industry Association and Jiangsu Catering Industry Association, the alliance unit of China Food College, and the innovative experimental base of talent training mode for food biotechnology professionals in Jiangsu Province.

The school is located in Huai 'an City, Jiangsu Province, the hometown of the great man Zhou Enlai. Adjacent to Zhou Enlai Memorial Hall, Wu Cheng'en's former residence, Beijing-Hangzhou Grand Canal, Hongze Lake and other tourist attractions.
