Xinyang Vocal Music Technical College (hereinafter referred to as Xinyang Vocational College) is located in Xinyang City, Henan Province. It is a full-time ordinary higher vocational college approved by the Henan Provincial People's Government and filed by the Ministry of Education. It is also a demonstration higher vocational college, a vocational education brand demonstration college and the first batch of healthy old-age nursing education and training bases in Henan Province.
The school originated from Henan Daoli Normal School, which was established in 1903. In 2003, Xinyang Education College and Xinyang Normal School merged to form Xinyang Education College; In 2004, Xinyang College of Education and Xinyang Health School merged to form Xinyang Vocational and Technical College; In 2009, Xinyang Business School merged.

In May 2004, with the approval of the Henan provincial government and the record of the Ministry of Education, Xinyang Vocational and Technical College was formed by the merger of Xinyang Health School and Xinyang Education College, and was established in September 2004 1.
In 2008, it was identified by the Provincial Department of Education as "Henan Provincial Model Higher Vocational College Construction Project Construction College".
In July 2009, Xinyang Commercial School was merged into Xinyang Vocational and Technical College.
