Ta 'er Monastery, together with ganden, Zhebang, Sera Monastery, Tashilhunpo Monastery in Tibet and Labrang Monastery in Gannan, is known as the six monasteries of Gelug Sect of Tibetan Buddhism in China, and is the birthplace of Zongcheba, the founder of Gelug Sect. With its large scale and convenient transportation, the temple has become the most concentrated place for people to visit Tibetan Buddhist temples and the most important tourist attraction in Qinghai Province.
2. Laoyeshan
Laoye Mountain, also known as Yuanshuo Mountain and North Wudang Mountain, is 30 kilometers away from Xining City. Because there is Taiyuan Palace (Guan Gong Temple) on the peak, the statues in the temple are related, so it is named Laoye Mountain. It is the most beautiful majestic mountain near Xining. Laoye Mountain has been famous for its lush pines, rugged stone steps, lingering rivers and beautiful scenery since ancient times.
3. Qinghai-Tibet Plateau Wildlife Park
Xining Wildlife Park, also known as the Qinghai-Tibet Plateau Wildlife Park, is the only large-scale comprehensive wildlife park with the highest altitude in the Qinghai-Tibet Plateau. It is a national scenic spot and a national popular science education base integrating wildlife viewing, protection, scientific research, breeding and popular science education.
Xining Wildlife Park covers an area of more than 5,000 mu, with an animal exhibition area of 1.500 mu. The main exhibition areas include six exhibition areas, including the free-range beast area, the free-range herbivore area, the Bird Garden, the primate museum, the kitten house and the small zoo, as well as the waterfowl lake, the large rare animal museum, the leopard museum, the parrot museum, the zebra museum and the aquarium, with a total of 65,438 animals on display.
4. Qinghai Tibetan Culture Museum
The Museum of Tibetan Medicine Culture is a comprehensive professional museum that collects, protects, studies and displays the historical and cultural heritage of Tibetan medicine, the physical evidence of its development process, precious cultural relics and Tibetan cultural and artistic paintings originating in the Qinghai-Tibet Plateau. It is the only large museum of Tibetan medicine in the world at present.
The Tibetan Medicine Culture Museum, invested and built by Qinghai Jinhe Tibetan Medicine Group Co., Ltd. and supported by the government, aims to fully show the splendid Tibetan medicine culture to the public at home and abroad, reproduce the development history of Tibetan medicine, and rescue the disappearing Tibetan medicine cultural heritage.
5. Rural interesting farming culture industrial park
The Rural Farming Cultural Ecological Park is located at the entrance of Taobei Village, Dabaozi Town, Chengbei District, Xining City. It is a model for the development of leisure sightseeing agriculture and rural tourism in China. With rich local culture, novel and unique farmyard, pollution-free green fruit and vegetable picking and sightseeing, and pure local catering, it is widely loved by all walks of life and recognized by various departments in provinces and cities.
6. Tangar Ancient City
Known as "the throat of the sea" and "the capital of tea and horses", the ancient city of Tangjiaer in Huangyuan, Qinghai Province. Tuanjia, the Mongolian transliteration of Tibetan "Dongkeer", means "white conch", located on the north bank of the Yellow River, on the shore of the West Sea, at the source of Huangshui River, 40 kilometers away from Xining City. Loess Plateau and Qinghai-Tibet Plateau are combined here, farming culture and grassland culture meet here, and the ancient Tang-Fan Road and the Southern Silk Road meet here.
Many nationalities gather here and are known as "the throat of the sea", "the capital of tea and horses" and "Little Beijing". Since the Western Han Dynasty, Tangier has become an important commercial and trade place. The Tang Dynasty and Tubo established the first "tea-horse exchange" place on the Qinghai-Tibet Plateau under the Moon Mountain today. By 1924, commercial trade reached its peak, merchants gathered in the city, and trade flourished.
7. Xining People's Park
Xining People's Park is the largest public amusement park in Xining, located on the south bank of the intersection of Huang Shuihe and Beichuan River in the west of the city. The park was founded in 1959 and has been expanded several times. Now it covers an area of more than 40 hectares. The main amusement facilities include flower area, artificial lake, children's amusement area, animal viewing area and art exhibition hall. Xining People's Park was built in 1959, located on the south bank of the intersection of Huang Shuihe and Beichuan River in the west of the city.
When the school was founded, it had a total area of 36 hectares. After several expansions, it now covers an area of more than 40 hectares and is the largest public amusement park in Xining. The amusement facilities in the park mainly include: zoo, flower area, artificial lake, outdoor theater, lighting stadium, children's playground, restaurant, tea room and other amusement and viewing service facilities.
8. Qinghai Tibetan Culture Center
Qinghai Tibetan Cultural Center is the first cultural tourism scenic spot in China to introduce Tibetan history, culture, art, religion and folk customs in an all-round way, based on modern exhibition and expression concepts and making full use of modern scientific and technological means and multimedia technology.
The Tibetan Cultural Center (already a national-level tourist attraction), which integrates knowledge, interest, appreciation and participation, is full of fantastic mystery and strong emotional shock. Located in Lianhua Lake, lushaer town, Huangzhong County, Xining City, Qinghai Province, it is less than 1 km from Ta 'er Temple, the holy place of Tibetan Buddhism. The Tibet Cultural Center echoes the ancient Ta 'er Temple, which sets each other off in interest.
