June 16 Belgrade Belgrade
Time was a bit tight, but ok.
Practical informationA. Transportation:
1, the airport to the city:
BUS: A1300 dinars to pick up your luggage, change a good bit of local money, out of the airport door on the left hand side can be seen, before getting on the bus to pay, OK.
BUS: 72 150 dinars to pick up your luggage, take the escalator up to the upper floor, also check-in passes for that floor, and then go out to the left on the left hand side, you can see. After picking up your luggage, take the escalator to the upper floor, the same floor where you checked in, and then go out and you will see the 72 bus on your left.
2, the city's transportation:
Beijing City: the old city is recommended to walk, are the scenery.
New town (Zemun, USCESHOPPING ...) ZeleniVenats bus stop (which is where the 72 ends) is a convenient place to take the 84. For those of you taking the A1 who may not be sure where this station is, check the map or ask where Farmersmarket is, the station is on the south side where there are a lot of buses, the 84 is easier to find and the 72 is more to the west.
Bus fares:
Uh, it's embarrassing to get on the 84 and ask the driver how much it costs, and he ignored us, so it's kind of passive fare evasion. But 72 must take the initiative to pay the driver, because we went to the airport when we saw halfway there are checking tickets, so no matter how people, we have to take the initiative to pay the driver oh. Novi Sad bus, take the initiative to pay, the driver is responsible for change, took the 3 bus, two or three stops, two people 110 dinars.
3, Bay City - other cities
Directly to the bus station (BAC) to buy a ticket, give you coins to keep, into the station with. If you have luggage, you will be charged a separate baggage fee when you get on the bus, which is like 40 dinars.
Two, the Internet card:
The hotel owner recommended the use of MTS Telecom SIM card, 300 dinars, 1G traffic, and my husband and I two people can also call each other for free, send messages.
Three, GoogleMaps recommended role, offline maps to download, I often have no signal in the Tara mountains, did not get lost, rely on it.
BelgradeA good day starts with breakfast.
KalemegdanCastleofBelgrade
- An ancient castle at the confluence of the Sava and Danube rivers.
This iconic monument to the victors commemorates Serbia's defeat of the Ottoman and Austro-Hungarian Empires in the Balkan Wars of 1928 and the First World War.
Foreigners you meet abroad, forget which country they are from.
Sleep deprivation, look at my little swollen eyes
There are beautiful women alas
Red clay tennis court
Hubby made a point of talking to me when he saw it, and I said I should have known to bring the racket over for you. (But at that time I did not know the exact meaning of red clay)
When I came back in the afternoon, I purposely stood there and watched the grandfathers play chess for a while.
The place was surprisingly styled in Japanese style for some reason.
Hubby's favorite is the big, dense trees, and he takes pictures of every one of them.
My favorite is the upright sky-high tree, the straighter and taller the better!
Be sure to apply mosquito repellent or something on the grass when you come here at night, I've been bitten by mosquitoes!
Look at this big bag, OOOOOOO
Zoo
-Founded in 1936, it is one of the oldest zoos in Europe. It houses the largest white lion in the world and many white and albino animals.
I love zoos, and whenever I go to one, I make sure to visit it whenever I have time.
BelgradeZoo
White and albino ........

These guys are so much fun, there's really no time to be idle. Give the panthers next door a good look.

Mihajlo Grand Duke's Street, situated in the center of Belgrade, is only a kilometer long, but is a beautiful sight due to the iconic late 19th-century buildings that flank it.
Icebox, take your pick and charge for weighing.
The city's central square, in the middle of which stands a bronze statue of Serbian Grand Duke Mihailo Obrenovi III (MihailoObrenovi
), built in 1882 to honor his liberation of Serbia from Ottoman rule.TrgRepublika
It's still light at 8 p.m., and the nightlife is just beginning.
Belgrade is full of people sitting in the street drinking.
Instead of going to the castle with my husband to watch the sunset, I chose to take a walk along the Sava River all the way to the Danube.
The hour-long road survey set the stage for his determination to take an exotic morning run.
The local cuisine, as I see it, is a big meat sandwich with mostly salami, very salty, _painful_, and onions plus sour cheese, I think.
Because I can't read the local menu, I ordered similar "food" several times in the next few days, and ate it with my tongue numb and my hands shaking with fatigue.
When you go to the grocery store, you need to weigh yourself, so you can learn.
Most unfortunately, I bought a large avocado lost
This is a reproduced picture, I think it is quite good, attractions, destinations at a glance, you can always check.
TARAWoodstock had already bought tickets to TARA yesterday, so I went to the station early to take the early train. It's kinda sad that I didn't get the breakfast buffet
Note: Make sure you keep the coins given to you when you buy the ticket, for entering the station.
There will be a few times when you can get off the bus to rest and have a coffee or something.
My favorite food is tomatoes, I eat them everywhere I go.
The scenery along the way was picturesque.
River Cabin
- The cabin has been standing on a rock in the center of the Drina River, facing the wind, rain and sun alone.
The cabin is near BajinaBasta, Serbia, and it was built in 1968.
Since we didn't have a reservation at the OmorikaHotel at the end of the bus line, we chose SuitesTaraExclussive, which turned out to be very satisfactory, and it was surrounded by a sea of flowers.
This one feels like rabbit ears, so soft.
SuitesTaraExclussive, a corner of the living room, very big, very comfortable place to stay. It is recommended to book early for a better room.
5 hour drive, got off hungry and bleary eyed.
Um, how to say, the BUS on the good people recommended good food, wrote down the local text, the restaurant once the meal, and then dumbfounded. Language barrier, no pictures and no English on the menu
Chartered a bus to visit Kremna, MokraGora, DrvenGrad, BelaVoda.
BUS on the encounter that kind person, and she talked for a long time, know that we want to go to MokraGora, so recommended his friend, 4000 dinars (equivalent to RMB 200 yuan more than it) to take us to a few attractions (at that time do not know where to go, only know that includes MokraGora). Time is tight, the task is heavy, adhering to the belief that the two countries on the basis of friendship, deal.
Kremna
- a small village in western Serbia, between Zlatibor and Tara.
Here you can see the remains of flints that once had a perfect body shape, as well as historical legends.
Sargan8
- Built on February 2, 1925.
--The most interesting museum related to European narrow gauge railroads.
--Overlooking its running track in the shape of a figure 8, the railroad is only open in the summer.
Take the little train and go!
BelaVoda (White Water River)
-Another famous site in the area, dotted with several churches, the river is said to be so rich in minerals that locals come here to get their water.
It is said that washing your eyes with this water will make them brighter!
This is the driver and guide of our chartered bus, look at his scalp and arms, in fact, the next day and the days after, I was like that too, it hurt!
O little train, why aren't you here yet?
The wooden city of DrvenGrad
-is a "utopia" that Emir Kusturica, a famous Serbian director, has created for himself to get away from the hustle and bustle of the city, It was the site of the movie "Life is a Choice". It was the setting for the movie "Zivotjecudo" ("Life is a Miracle"), and the wooden houses are traditional Serbian farm buildings.
I thought I didn't have enough time to visit, but it's good to know that wishes can be granted.
To be honest, there was so much light, you couldn't even keep your eyes open at the time.
Do you think it's beautiful!
Just say it's beautiful!
This is the OmorikaHotel, which I didn't get a reservation on
The bus terminal is just a short distance west of her.
This is where I had dinner, and since I couldn't read the menu, I ended up simply and rudely saying "meat, meat!" which the owner understood
This is the same kind of ceramic plate that is used for dinner here in Tara, and it's very rustic. But every time I think of flower pots, it's like I'm eating dirt
Tara National ParkBreakfast, or this one, don't be svelte anymore, just go for it.
Feeling sitting across the table from the husband are eating cried
Today, I plan to officially hike with my husband to patrol the mountain, the map designated a point, estimated three hours, six hours round trip, back to take the last train back to Belgrade.
Want to make a point, I do not know if it is a problem of our route planning, in the mountains these hours we total **** just saw five people, from entering the hinterland of the sea of flowers, it simply see - not - to! -People! It felt like it was just my husband and I in the whole mountain.
So - empty - ah -!
When I looked at the weather forecast yesterday it said it was going to rain, not a small thunderstorm, I was worried because I had to go up the mountain and rain is a terrible thing, I woke up in the morning to find that it was sunny, it was just a pleasant surprise.
Favorite thing about this place is that the hills are full of flowers.
There are different kinds of paths: dirt, mud puddle, stone, tree branch, pine tower, flower, stone ......
What a big pine tower, I want to carry it home
Took so many of these paths that I got lost three times on the way back.
Every time we passed a hut like this, I was especially tempted to take a closer look, only my husband reminded us that there was no time to lose, so we had to stop!
We thought we could find a high point to see the scenery after three hours of hiking, but it turned out to be one mountain after another, and the terminal was just a point in the mountains where we hiked ahead. Thunder rumbled in the distance from time to time, and all I could think of was to get back soon, the rain was not going to be fun.
Looking at the darkness of the sky, the clouds kept approaching, the thunder kept exploding, I was very uneasy inside, if the rain suddenly fell, think about the way we came, we will be very difficult to move forward, and the worst if we encountered lightning, how do we avoid.
The good news is that we only encountered a few drops of rain and made it back to Omorika without any problem. We found that the road was wet, so it was raining on this side.
Truly thank God!
We had been so nervous about the rain on our return trip that our mountain navigation couldn't keep up with our speed, and we got lost three times, delaying our trip. With sore legs, we thought about hitchhiking. The first time we heard a tractor and unfortunately missed it. The second time, a more luxurious car "whooshed" past us and we missed it again. The third time, the car is slower, my husband and I watched him come over, drove past, stopped, so happy, is an old couple, language barriers to speak concise, I just said "Omorika", they waved and let us get on the car. I just said "Omorika" and they let us in with a wave of their hand. Although they only drove us a short distance, it saved us almost an hour of traveling. To commemorate this friendship, I bought this fridge sticker to keep it as a souvenir.
The town of Bajina Basta, seen from the bus on the way back.
Serbia on the left, Bosnia and Herzegovina on the right, and the DrinaRiver is their dividing line.
Bye TARA!!!
Staying close to Kalemegdan Castle this time.
Eat some meat tonight.
Love this store, BOUTIQUE,delicious, good looking, warm, spirited! Why am I describing it that way? Is not too much to drink
Novi SadOr go to the BAC (bus station) to buy tickets, the number of cars is quite a lot, just sleep, suddenly found a lot of people get off the car off, that is the Novi Sad train station and the bus station together, and I do not know if it is not the end of the station. Trying to get to Petrovaradin Fortress is quite far, arrived by 3 buses.
See the roadside store sells raspberries, can not help but buy, no water to wash, bear, eat.
No one has ever eaten it before, I didn't know it was this kind of texture, it feels like it's full of seeds, giggling.
Nice looking plant.
When I was at the Belgrade Zoo, I found a huge mulberry tree, but it was too high to reach, and I felt sorry for half a day. Surprisingly, I found mulberries here, so I hurriedly picked them.
No foodie phase, but grow a foodie heart.
Petrovaradin Castle
- located on a 40-meter-high volcanic rock above the river. It was once an impregnable fortress on the Danube. The people of Yugoslavia started building the castle here from 1692 in order to fight against Turkish and Austro-Hungarian aggression. The construction was only fully completed in 1786, *** after 94 long years.
The Danube, so familiar to me as a child, is now in front of me, traveling is such a joy!
Clock Tower
- The clock tower on the castle is 100 years old and it is a landmark of the city of Novi Sad along with the castle fortress ****. The most interesting feature of the clock tower is the switching of the hour and minute hands, with the long hand pointing to "hour" and the short hand pointing to "minute". This was designed for the benefit of boaters on the Danube, who could see the clock from a distance. Another feature of the clock is that it moves a little faster on cold days and a little slower on hot days, which was designed to give boaters a better idea of their speed.
But the clock, I - didn't - see - understand, don't blame me for being stupid, haha
Online: the castle's underground has a branching longitudinal Corridor tunnel, 16 kilometers long, more than 1 meter wide, "Gibraltar of the Danube". Tunnels are divided into three layers, each layer is 2 meters high, between the two layers are connected to the ladder steps, in case of emergency, but also from the through the well, with a boom down. Each layer of tunnels like a spider web, hundreds of channels crisscrossing, coiled and circuitous. In some places, there are five passages, of which only one is a real passage, and four are set traps. The tunnels also had places for soldiers to sleep, eat and meet. There were gunholes every 2 meters to observe the outside, aim and shoot, or spears could be protruded from the holes to suddenly attack the enemy. The construction of the tunnels has a strong Balkan style, especially the wells and cisterns inside the tunnels, which are chic and sturdy. Everywhere in the castle there are still ruins of famous battles from the past.
But that's all I could see.
It's cold underground, and the rays of sunlight are unusually warm.
It was so hungry, so I enjoyed lunch at the castle!
And a glass of brandy, not good. But sitting there, eating western food, while looking at the Danube, blowing the wind, riding the cool, slightly drunk
The afternoon sun is more than enough, don't know if I'm drunk, or sun dizzy, but also pleasant.
The river was green a few days ago, and I've been thinking about the Blue Danube, which is a proper response to me.
We have seen this video on the internet before, but today we can see it for real.
Catholic Church
City Hall
Trying to compare with the domestic which country's pie is delicious, or Japan's delicious.
Serbian National Theater
I'd like to hold two dogs like that.
Novi Sad
Novi Sad Synagogue
--Built in 1905 and completed in 1909.
- Today an estimated 400 Jews live in Novi Sad. Today the synagogue is used for religious services, but also hosts concerts and various events for many cultures.
Drinks like Red Bull.
Back in Belgrade, this dog is of very Serbian heritage, enthusiastic and lively, and loves to interact with people.
BelgradeGood morning, Belgrade!
Hubby said he wanted to feel like running in the morning abroad, so he bought a pair of running shoes yesterday and happily went for a run at KalemegdanFortress today.
I had nothing to do, I went for a walk, and saw the dog again, casually a sentence with me, it actually accompanied me to walk through the entire castle garden, ashamed that I did not have food to it, failed to live up to its enthusiasm.
Come on, Blackie, let's take a picture of you in the light
Serbian Orthodox Church Museum
St. Michael's Cathedral
It's beautiful here, but I'm not allowed to take a picture of it, and I don't know why.
When I went in I saw a dad with his son and the godfather was reading something to them, I didn't understand what that was doing.
The yogurt in this country is so good, it's just what I like that's not too sweet and doesn't have a weird flavor. In Dalian, I found only one brand, is too expensive, a box of 14.7 yuan, I do not know whether it is a problem of transportation or preservation, some of the water is too much, alas, back to the country and weaned
Old Palace
Serbian Parliament Building
- Serbian Parliament's office, built in 1936, is one of Belgrade's landmarks and one of its most imposing buildings. Aside from the Parliament building itself, the entrance to the building is noteworthy for its sculpture of a black horse, a pair of sculptures from the famous Serbian sculptor Toma Rosadic (Toma
Rosandi?).
St. Mark's Church CrkvaSvetogMarka
Built between the two world wars, this church has an eye-catching, layered Byzantine red-brick exterior.
There are many such stores in the city, and I bought my internet card from such a place. Drinking water is nearly twice as expensive as at the supermarket.
Gardos, Gardos Tower
- Located in the Zemun district of Belgrade, Zemun used to be a separate city historically, and as such has its own city center and old town. The Galdosh Tower was built in 1896 under Austro-Hungarian rule as part of a massive fortress, and now only some ruins remain of the rest of the fortress. Due to the Hungarian rule, the architecture of both the Galdosh Tower and the Old Town of Zemun, where it is located, is very different from that of Belgrade's Old Town. The Old Town of Zemun is located on the Danube River, and a climb up to the Galdosh Tower offers a panoramic view of the Old Town of Zemun as well as the Danube River and the city of Belgrade in the distance. There are many restaurants and bars along the river to one
