Internship Report Requirements for Post-Secondary Students

I. Purpose of Internship

Through the familiarization internship of insurance companies and related units with insurance business, students can gain initial familiarity with the nature of the company, its mode of operation and the operating environment, and at the same time, combine with the professional knowledge they have learned, observe and understand the operating characteristics, business requirements and main products of the company, so as to lay a foundation for further study of professional knowledge.

II. Basic requirements

2, abide by the internship discipline, obey the internship arrangements, to complete the internship task;

3, and the supervising teacher to keep in touch with the internship on a regular basis, to report on the progress of the internship, and to accept the guidance of supervising teachers;

4, the end of the internship, the student shall submit Identification of Internship Unit" and "Internship Report", which is required to be no less than 2000 words.

V. Internship Arrangements:

1. Internship Time: The 20th and 21st weeks at the end of the first semester of the 2005%26mdash;2008 academic year.

2. Place of internship:

The students will choose the place and unit by themselves according to the principles of proximity (generally means place of residence), relevance (means specialty) and safety.

The principle of contacting internship units by oneself is to focus on one insurance company or a company with insurance business. If you encounter any related problems, you can contact the relevant instructors for help.

VI. Content of internship

1. Understand the basic situation and history of the internship organization;

2. Understand the nature of ownership, business policy and business philosophy of the internship organization

3. Understand the operation characteristics, business requirements and main products of the internship organization;

4. Understand the market environment and regulatory environment of the internship organization;

5. Understand the development strategy and business strategy of the internship organization;

6. Understand the development strategy and business tactics of the internship organization.

VII. Assessment Method

The assessment grade is divided into five grades: excellent, good, moderate, pass and fail.

The evaluation of the grade is based on the situation grasped by the supervisor, the comments of the internship unit and the internship report.

The internship grades above pass (including pass) will be counted as 2 credits.
