There are waiting hall, power distribution hall, ticket office, exit hall, VIP room, ticket office, communication room, fire control room, automatic control room, wiring room, power distribution room, signal special substation, public security duty, security check lounge, etc. There is a waiting hall, wiring room, power distribution room, air conditioning room, public network coverage and disaster prevention room on the second floor above ground.
As of May 20 14, the station building of Xiangtan North Station is divided into three areas: A, B and C, in which area B is the main part, and the upper and lower floors are large waiting halls. Area A and area C on both sides are office rooms and equipment rooms, and the first floor of area C is the ticketing hall. The station also has shopping and leisure areas and is equipped with several escalators.
As of May 20 15, the square in front of Xiangtan North Station is located in the south of Xiangtan North Station. The square in front of the station has three floors, namely, the ground floor, the underground floor and the underground floor. Among them, the first floor underground is commercial catering, taxi stand and bus square, and the second floor underground is social parking lot.
