Liu Yuxi: Wuyi Lane
There are weeds and flowers beside Zhuque Bridge, and the sunset is setting at the entrance of Wuyi Lane.
In the old days, Wang thanked Tang Qian Yan and flew into the homes of ordinary people.
This is the second song in Liu Yuxi's Five Topics of Jinling. Wuyi Lane is located near Zhuque Bridge at the south gate of Jinling
, where Wang Dao, Xie 'an and other aristocratic families lived in the Eastern Jin Dynasty. The first two sentences are based on the name of the bridge and the name of the lane
, which is really ingenious. The beauty of the wonderful pair is that it has integrated the poet's feeling of the world
without trace: the setting sun is slanting, and the lethargy is threatening. In this cold mood, weeds bloom wildly, and
seems to satirize the changes of the world with bright colors and vigorous vitality. It seems that the life of
freedom implies that this once prosperous place is deserted, with
few chariots and horses and no grass. There is no end to the beauty, because the beauty can change the direction and formula, and even turn the original beauty into the background of the new beauty. With a little inspiration, the poet borrowed a swallow to read all the vicissitudes of the world. Fu Xian's Preface to Yan Fu in the Jin Dynasty said: "It is said that Yan will nest here this year, so she will return in the next year < P >. It will die, and you can know it by cutting your claws. The consequences are profound. " It is the instinct to recognize and return to the old nest that catches Swallow < P > in the poem, which writes irrationality from rationality and implies profound reason from irrationality.
The old swallow in front of Wang Xietang 411 years ago could not have lived so long, nor could it have flown back to its original place from generation to generation
. But poetry can condense time and make the impossible possible. It's fantastic and unique to
the flying of a swallow, overlapping the places where Wang Xieju lived together and the places where ordinary people lived together in the Tang Dynasty
, thus giving a deep sigh
full of sense of fate and ruin to the disappearance of such famous families. The poem written from this is a famous sentence throughout the ages, and the swallow written from this
is also a famous swallow with great historical depth. It's no wonder that, as
said in Jiangnan Tongzhi, people pointed to the hall plaque of Xie Wang's former residence on Wuyi Lane and wrote the word
Laiyan.
Stone Town
Tang Liu Yuxi
The old country is surrounded by mountains, and the tide hits the empty city and it is lonely.
In the old days, in the east of Huaishui, I came to the female wall at night.
Translation:
Mountains surround the old capital (Jinling), and the mountains are still there on all sides.
The tides of the Yangtze River beat against the empty city, bringing a bit of loneliness.
The bright moon rising in the east of Qinhuai River is still the old bright moon.
In the long night, the cold moonlight shines into the city from the battlements.
Stone Town is located in Qingliang Mountain, Nanjing. It was originally Jinling City, Chu State, and Sun Quan changed its name for reconstruction.
It is bordered by the Yangtze River in the north and Qinhuai River in the south. According to legend, Zhuge Liang watched the situation on the top of the mountain and sighed, "Zhongshan Dragon
plate, surrounded by stones and tigers, is also the residence of emperors". This is the
first poem of Liu Yuxi's Five Poems of Jinling. Bai Juyi, who called Liu Yuxi a "poet", "dropped the first poem and sighed for a long time", praising "the poem on the stone says: the tide hits the empty city and returns to loneliness, and the poet after I know it is no longer worded
". Liu Yuxi entered these words into the introduction of the group poem, which shows that he regards this poem as a proud work.
Jinling was the ancient capital of the Six Dynasties (Soochow, Eastern Jin Dynasty, Southern Song Dynasty, Qi Dynasty, Liang Dynasty and Chen Dynasty). At that time, the temples and pavilions were rich and beautiful, and the music was flourishing. A group of monarch and ministers pursued happiness and laughed at the expense of national subjugation. However, since the Sui Dynasty
was destroyed, and Tang Gaozu moved Yangzhou's viceroy from Jinling to Yangzhou, it has become a world where ancient cities are short of grass, and it has become an object for poets of past dynasties to mourn the vicissitudes of history. The beauty of Liu Yuxi's poem is
that it describes the Stone Mountain and the Yangtze River Tide in a distant pen and ink, and that the empty city of the old country was hit by the tide around the mountain, but
it was so silent that there was no vitality reaction from the weather in the imperial city. The mountain is surrounded closely, which seems to be
reminiscent of the appearance of a tiger sitting on a dragon plate in those days; However, with the beating and retreating of the river tide, only the empty city was seen, and I don't know what the lights and towers and the prosperity of singing and dancing in those days were.
Poetry is written from the ground to the sky. Those who are lost on the ground want to find the answer from the sky. The bright moon
to the east of Qinhuai River, which shone from ancient times to the present, must have experienced the prosperity of the past, but
it rose in the east and stayed until late at night, and only shone into the city from the battlements ("female walls")
. The poet casually picked up common images such as mountains, cities, water and the moon, and formed a "city of images" with ingenuity, and conducted a dialogue between cities and people to explore historical mysteries. The
of images reflect and refract each other, forming the effect of image integration, telling a story without a story, a story about historical vicissitudes and the rise and fall of cities, and a story with universal consciousness about
constant and changing, instantaneous and eternal. Such a poet is also a philosophical poet or a poetic philosopher.
