People often say that diabetes generally refers to type 2 diabetes. In fact, at present, there is no clear relationship between sugar intake and diabetes, but some studies have found some correlation: young diabetics generally prefer to drink sweet drinks.
Strictly speaking, these drinks can make people's taste buds feel sweet, indicating that the sugar content has exceeded 10%. Sugar itself belongs to heat energy substance. If you drink sweet drinks for a long time, it will lead to extra heat intake, which will make people fat over time. Obesity is a high risk factor for diabetes. Therefore, we should control the intake of sugary foods.
So, who are prone to diabetes? The following people are at high risk for diabetes:
1.45 years old and people with family history of diabetes.
2. sedentary people. Because the metabolism of sugar in the body is often associated with exercise, when a person is exercising, the muscle has a particularly strong ability to absorb glucose; If the muscles ingest glucose, the sugar in the blood will decrease. Sedentary people lack exercise, so they are prone to get sick.
3. People who sleep for a short time. Because they often work overtime at night, their bodies have been in a high-intensity working state, and glucagon secretion is very strong, such as adrenocortical hormone and adrenaline. These glucagon hormones are secreted more, and blood sugar will naturally exceed the normal level. This kind of people can have more rest and sleep, and their blood sugar can be lowered.
4. Obese people. Obese people often have insulin resistance, which means that the efficiency of glucose intake and utilization decreases, so the body must compensate and secrete more insulin to play a role in lowering blood sugar; In addition, the workload of insulin carrying blood sugar will also increase. It is the long-term overload of islet β cells that leads to impaired islet function and permanent hyperglycemia in the body, that is, type 2 diabetes.
3. Patients with fatty liver. The prevalence of diabetes in fatty liver population is 20~30%, and 50% of diabetic patients have fatty liver. Fatty liver here refers to nonalcoholic fatty liver, which is formed because the human body consumes too many calories and the unconsumed energy is hidden in the liver and accumulated for a long time.
4. People with hyperlipidemia and high triglycerides. This is inseparable from the dietary preferences of China people. Stir-fried food and fried food are frequent guests on the dining table, and contain too much cooking oil, which leads to high risk of illness.
5. Women with a history of huge fetus. Generally speaking, the birth weight of a child should be controlled at around 3 kg. If the fetus is too big, the risk of diabetes will increase in the future, and the mother is also prone to diabetes.
People should be aware of the importance of regular screening of blood sugar, and diabetic patients should pay more attention to the examination of complications.
