Changchun Automobile Industry Development Zone (hereinafter referred to as the Automobile Industry Development Zone) is a provincial-level development Oriental Detroit District established by Changchun Municipal Party Committee and Changchun Municipal People's Government (hereinafter referred to as the Municipal Party Committee and the Municipal Government) in cooperation with FAW Group. It was established in September 2005. The Development Zone is located in the southwest of Changchun City, starting from Puyang Street and Shen Chang Railway in the east, reaching Fan Jiatun Town in Gongzhuling City in the south, opening a new river in the west and connecting the planned Shen Chang high-speed passenger railway in the north. The development zone is located in the southwest of Changchun, with an overall planning area of 65,438 0.20 square kilometers, including 24 square kilometers of built-up area and 96 square kilometers of development zone. The automobile industry in the built-up area and its surrounding areas has a solid foundation: FAW-Volkswagen, faw liberation, FAW Car and other main engine plants, more than 300 automobile parts enterprises and a number of automobile modification enterprises form a well-known automobile manufacturing enterprise cluster at home and abroad; FAW Technology Center, China Ninth Design Institute of Machinery Industry and Automobile College of Jilin University constitute the most densely populated areas of domestic automobile R&D education institutions. The largest auto parts trading center in China and the largest auto and used car trading market in Northeast China constitute a perfect automobile aftermarket service area.
