The first weekend after I bought the car, I couldn't hold back my restless heart to go out to wave, and it just so happened that I hadn't yet submitted the new car homework, so I searched for the filming location on the magic tool Xiaohongshu without further ado. So I saw the 1978 movie town in Zengcheng, Guangzhou.
1978 Movie Town was formerly known as Licheng Sugar and Paper Factory, and after renovation, it became a movie town, similar to a creative park, which is mainly occupied by film and television related enterprises. Because the location is relatively remote, so the flow of people is not large, and does not charge admission, is a good place to shoot the car.
Bringing my girlfriend, I drove my little red Tiida, and set up my destination with my car's own Gaode navigation, and we set off right away.
Today's weather was very helpful, especially for taking pictures of brightly colored cars.
The sky is so blue that you don't see much of it in Guangzhou. Under the blue sky and white clouds, the North Third Ring Road actually has a hint of Kamakura flavor, full of Japanese small fresh feeling.
Of course, we are accompanied by the best tasting duck necks~
The world in the rearview mirror, more and more far and far away from the goodbye.......Follow the sound of Jay Chou in the stereo, we step by step to the destination.
An hour and a half of driving passed by in a flash, and after crossing this bridge we would arrive at the movie town.
Before we even reach the gates, the roadside decorations are already growing in abundance, with the "Runner" art statue being one of the most iconic.
Just as you enter the town, you are greeted with a positive image of workers, peasants and soldiers working together to build a sugar factory, a product of that period. As the former site of a state-run sugar and paper factory, the spirit of hard work of the old generation of entrepreneurs must be worth passing on and carrying forward.
Bypassing the cooking workshop of the sugar mill, you will come to the long rumored "Pure White Church". Although the ground is a bit messy due to maintenance, it does not affect its pure and holy temperament.
The best thing about this park is that you can drive into most of it, and there are plenty of stylish cafes and bistros lining the roads. As we approached meal time, we looked for a place to have lunch while stopping to take a couple of photos at any time. The midday light was hot, but my little red Tiida was even more colorful in the blazing sun.
The red and black color scheme also makes the vehicle look younger.
The Han across the road looks like an art museum, but it's actually a bar that doesn't open until 6pm, so we didn't go in.
Possibly because the impact of the epidemic has not yet eased, the park's food and beverage are basically not open, so we decided to fill our stomachs, and then come back to shoot.
This one tasted good and was especially affordable, with a plate of pan-fried stuffed peppers for only 35 bucks, full of meat.
After lunch, we returned to the park, the weather is really too hot, we sat down for a while, when the weather is a little cooler, we will go back to shooting.
After the meal, we took a hundred steps and lived to 99. We wandered around the neighborhood of the drink store, and the park did a better job of fleshing out the 80's feel. The window displays of the "three revolutions and one ring" - bicycle, sewing machine, watch and radio - represent the standard of living of the well-off families of the time.
Turning the corner to meet a couple in the wedding photo, see us shoot her, Miss full of happiness to us than a "yeah" jewelry. Driving is Tiida's brother model, Xuan Yi, really or three cars more suitable for the family, the temperament is more stable.
In contrast, Tiida is more suitable for boring young people like me who are not yet married. The flexible layout of the rear trunk space makes our life more flexible and interesting, and meets our various fancy needs.
The red Tiida in the sunshine is really quite pretty, I'm glad I listened to my heart and chose the red pearlescent paint, even if it's an extra 2000, I think it's worth it.
There are a lot of really interesting murals in the park, each of which can be used as a backdrop, and this one of Batman vs Superman is great.
The relaxed nature of the Tiida really goes well with the atmosphere here.
The inside world in the rearview mirror... Despite the fondness, it was time for us to say goodbye to 1978, and we'll be back again if we get the chance. Hopefully next time we come, the Pure White Church has been restored. There is a chance to meet again, looking forward to a period of a while!
