with the deepening of reform and opening up, the number and scale of industrial and commercial enterprises in Hushan street are increasing, and the characteristic industries such as textiles, seals and catering are developing rapidly, which has promoted the rapid and healthy development of various economic and social undertakings in Hushan. In the first half of this year, the GDP of our street reached 1.27 billion yuan, an increase of 9.86% over the same period last year; The total fiscal revenue reached 351 million yuan, an increase of 81%. This achievement is inseparable from the efforts of every industrial and commercial employee. On behalf of the Street Party Working Committee and the office, I would like to take this opportunity to express my heartfelt thanks to the vast number of industrial and commercial employees who have contributed to the construction and development of Hushan.

after more than 21 years of reform and opening up, especially in recent years, Hushan has been developing rapidly, its comprehensive economic strength has been continuously enhanced, and all kinds of infrastructure have been gradually improved, which has provided a good basic condition for realizing leap-forward development in the new century. Last year, China officially joined the WTO, which will have a profound impact on our economy, society and other aspects, and also create a broader development space for us. In particular, the State Planning Commission officially approved the construction of the Hangzhou Bay Cross-sea Bridge, which provided us with a golden opportunity for the modernization of Hushan. In the face of new historical opportunities, we must assess the situation and work hard. This year, the Party Working Committee and the office of Hushan Street have established the working idea of "three districts" with emphasis on agricultural parks, industrial parks and community construction, and strive to build Cixi modern ecological agriculture demonstration park into the "back garden" of Cixi medium-sized cities through several years of efforts; Building textile city into a first-class characteristic industrial park in Ningbo; Create all communities in Hushan into municipal civilized communities. At the same time, it is necessary to strengthen and standardize the development of the tertiary industry and increase the structural proportion of the tertiary industry in GDP. I'd like to take this opportunity to make three comments:

First, the Chamber of Commerce is required to play an active role as a bridge and link

The purpose of establishing the Chamber of Commerce is to contact members, organize members to cooperate with each other, exchange business information, and serve the society and members. To achieve this goal, the chamber of commerce must achieve "three links": First, it must strengthen its ties with government departments. Chambers of Commerce often contact government departments in their business activities, and there are many problems that need to be coordinated and solved by government departments. Therefore, the Chamber of Commerce should strengthen communication with government departments and gain their understanding and support, so that the problem can be solved faster and better. To actively participate in the discussion of state affairs, timely reflect the opinions, demands and suggestions of members, and safeguard the legitimate rights and interests of members; We should cooperate with the central work of the party and the government and be a good assistant to the government in managing enterprises. The second is to strengthen contact with members of the Chamber of Commerce. Organize members to carry out laws and regulations education and professional ethics education, and advocate fair competition; Carry out business activities, understand the domestic and international economic situation and market dynamics, and learn and absorb foreign experience. Third, we should strengthen the horizontal contact with the brothers' chambers of commerce. Learn from each other's strengths, actively explore the effective operation mechanism of grass-roots chambers of commerce, and create a new situation in the work of grass-roots chambers of commerce with pragmatic style and innovative ideas.

Second, members of various chambers of commerce are required to stand on their own feet, develop the economy, and abide by the law

First, study should be strengthened. Every member should build and develop enterprises with the concept of modern enterprises, devote himself to building learning enterprises and thinking enterprises, constantly study the Party's line, principles, policies, laws and regulations, grasp the situation, be good at rational thinking, take the lead in implementing industry norms, abide by professional ethics, consciously abide by national laws and regulations, take "integrity" as the foundation and "quality" as the top priority, establish brand awareness and improve overall quality.

second, we should serve the overall situation. I hope that our members of the general chamber of commerce will focus on the key points of the "three districts" construction proposed by the street, do well in their respective industries, and effectively play the role of "leading geese" in the industry, lead and guide the vast number of enterprises, actively participate in market competition, continue to carry forward the "four thousand spirits" in the early stage of the development of township enterprises (leaving no stone unturned, saying a thousand words, going through hardships, and Qian Shan's myriad waters), and sing "Six Thousand Rivers" well. Singing the national anthem embodies progress, progress, never back down; Singing my China heart shows that patriotism will never change; Singing dares to ask where the road is, reflecting that the road is at your feet; Singing is always a friend, which shows that friends have more ways to go; Singing good Chinese songs embodies the spirit of grasping opportunities when you dare to make a move. Third, the relevant functional departments of the street should support the work of the Chamber of Commerce

The future work of the Chamber of Commerce cannot be separated from the support and cooperation of the relevant functional departments.
