The expert research group of China Agricultural University has systematically analyzed the protein and fat of the leftovers in 2,711 tables of different sizes in large, medium and small cities, and conservatively estimated that the protein of food wasted in China from 2117 to 2118 alone reached 8 million tons, equivalent to the needs of 261 million people in one year; Waste 3 million tons of fat, which is equivalent to the needs of 31 million people a year.
At this year's two sessions, Chen Daifu, a deputy to the National People's Congress, suggested that the country urgently needs to enact the Anti-Waste Law to stop and prevent waste, so that there is no place for waste. Experts say that on the one hand, extravagance is wasted, on the other hand, there are still many places where there is not enough food or malnutrition, which also illustrates the imbalance problem; Food waste is a kind of resource waste, and the wasted food and food also pollute the environment. This kind of food waste phenomenon should be solved by legislation.
People who call for legislation believe too much in the role of legislation and are too ignorant of human nature! But colleagues and customers all over the country have solved this problem well without legislation, which is worth learning from the whole country!
We believe that there are three reasons for China people's food waste:
1. Concept problem:
China people, especially northerners, think that eating up is not enough, which is equivalent to neglecting guests, so they artificially increase the weight of ordering food to ensure that they can't finish it, which will inevitably lead to waste. The same skill that everyone must learn is to order food. The principle of ordering food goes deep into everyone's concept, that is, to ensure nutrition, look commensurate with the scene, moderate amount and economy. After repeated training and practice for more than ten years, the concept problem has been completely solved.
2. No promotion of public chopsticks:
In my conscience, who wants to waste it? Are you willing to spend more money on your treat? China is actually a thrifty nation, but on the surface, it seems that catering is very wasteful. An important reason is that China people don't have the habit of sharing meals or using public chopsticks, and they eat the dishes that were later caught by everyone's chopsticks. Many people are worried that they will catch the virus through their diet, so they simply don't eat them. So, on the one hand, many people may not be full, and on the other hand, there are a lot of leftovers on the table! And colleagues who are sincere in promoting the use of public chopsticks in all parts of the country, they are clean in the end, and they are willing to finish the dishes, which completely solves the food waste caused by worrying about infectious diseases!
3. Weak sense of social responsibility:
Germany is very rich and rich in food, but Germans believe that food is the resource of all mankind and cannot be wasted. It is shameful to waste food in Germany. Honest colleagues who have been influenced by German culture also uphold this concept and do not waste food. In daily business activities, people are encouraged to donate to the "Spring Seedling Nutrition Plan" so that children in the west can have lunch, let people know that there are still many people in China who don't have enough to eat, enhance everyone's sense of social responsibility, and completely solve the problems caused by social responsibility!
