Beijing garbage classification will be implemented in May 2020 1. The 16th meeting of the Standing Committee of the 15th Beijing Municipal People's Congress adopted a decision on amending the Regulations of Beijing Municipality on Domestic Waste Management. Domestic waste is divided into four basic categories: kitchen waste, recyclable materials, harmful waste and other wastes. The revised regulations focus on reducing the source, encourage express delivery companies to recycle express packaging materials, and set a number of penalties, imposing fines of more than 5,000 yuan on hotels and hotels that offer disposable supplies. For individual punishment, we should pay attention to the principle of combining punishment with education. Individuals who fail to classify garbage according to regulations, or have been fined for many times from 50 yuan to 200 yuan, and voluntarily participate in community service activities such as domestic garbage classification, will not be given administrative punishment, and garbage will be mixed. The revised regulations came into effect on May 1 2020.
