Chongqing City University of Science and Technology is a full-time private undergraduate college. The school was founded in 2005, formerly known as Chongqing University Town College of Science and Technology. In June 2020, the Ministry of Education approved the transfer to Chongqing City Institute of Science and Technology.
The school has two campuses, Yongchuan and Banan, with more than 36,000 students. The school has complete educational and teaching facilities, and the library is rich in literature resources, which can meet the learning needs of all students.
All classrooms in the teaching building are equipped with complete sets of multimedia equipment and some intelligent classroom equipment. There are more than 20 specialized laboratories/kloc-0 and 8 engineering training centers for civil engineering, electrical information, mechanical design, economic management, media art, humanities and social sciences, artificial intelligence and big data, which create good conditions for cultivating applied talents.
