The origin of watches
More than 151 years ago, some skilled craftsmen tried to put the watches they carried with them into bracelets as "watches", but they failed. During World War I, a soldier tied and fixed his watch on his wrist for convenience, and he could see the time by lifting his wrist, which was much more convenient than taking it from his pocket. In 1918, a Swiss watchmaker named Zana Shanu was inspired by the soldier's practice. After careful design, he made a small watch, and designed pinholes on both sides of the watch to hold leather or metal watchbands so as to fix the watch on his wrist. Since then, watches have been born.
