Among them, precipitation method is mainly used for the treatment of industrial fluorine-containing wastewater, and adsorption method is mainly used for the treatment of dry drinking water. In addition, there are freezing method, ion exchange method, ultrafiltration method, electrocoagulation method, electrodialysis and reverse osmosis technology.
The commonly used methods mainly include chemical precipitation, flocculation precipitation and adsorption. Chemical precipitation method is generally used to treat high-concentration fluorine-containing wastewater, which is widely used because of its simple operation, low cost and good effect. Contrary to chemical precipitation, coagulation precipitation is generally only suitable for treating wastewater with low fluorine content. High concentration fluorine-containing wastewater must be treated by chemical precipitation method first, and then defluorinated by coagulation precipitation method. Adsorption method is mainly suitable for advanced treatment of drinking water with small amount of water, which is relatively expensive and complicated to operate. Of course, other methods also have their own application fields and advantages.
