On June 30th, Singapore officially released the Update of Border Measures for Passengers from Australia and Guangdong Province of Chinese mainland, which updated the new regulations for passengers with travel history in Guangdong Province of China, allowing residents of Guangdong Province of China to enter the country without being quarantined, but tightened the entry policy for passengers with travel history in Australia in the past 2 1 day. Short-term travelers with Air Travel Pass (ATP) will not be allowed to enter Singapore if they have traveled in Australia in the last 2 1 day before leaving for Singapore.

Singapore was one of the few countries that opened its borders to Chinese mainland residents during the epidemic. Although the epidemic went to Singapore, the visa procedure is a little more troublesome now (now you have to apply for an air pass in addition to a visa), but it is acceptable on the whole. Although some European countries are open to China, visa application centers in some cities are still closed as usual. Only the visa application center in Beishangguang will be more open, so it is not very convenient for non-Beishangguang applicants to apply.

Confirm whether you are eligible to apply.

When China citizens go to Singapore with ordinary passports, they should first confirm their travel history in the past 2 1 day, and ask them to stay in Chinese mainland (the place of departure) for the last 2 1 day before going to Singapore, and should undergo health monitoring before leaving the country;

Tourists with the following conditions are not suitable to go to Singapore: COVID-19 symptoms; Diagnosed or suspected of being infected with COVID-19 virus within 2 1 day before going to New Zealand; Or had close contact with any COVID-19 patient within 14 days before going to Singapore. Close contact means: providing care for COVID-19 patients, including in medical care or family/social environment; Stay with COVID-19 patients (such as family members); Or close contact with COVID-19 patients (less than 2m) and long-term contact (15min or more) (such as eating together).

Second, apply for visas and air travel passes.

Apply for a Singapore visa (within 35 days before the entry date): First, you must apply for a Singapore visa through an institution designated by the Singapore Embassy or Consulate. Domestic Singapore visas can only be processed 35 days before departure, and the visas obtained are generally valid for 35 days.

Apply for Air Travel Pass (ATP) (apply between 7 and 30 calendar days before the scheduled date of entry into Singapore): Because of the epidemic, only Singapore visa can't enter the country, so you need to apply for another ATP. The normal processing time of ATP is 3 working days, and the validity period is from the date of entry to 7 days thereafter. If you don't know English, you can handle it through an intermediary or find someone to help you. If you know English, you can also operate online by yourself. Every tourist needs to apply for ATP. If it is a minor (/kloc-under 0/8 years old), the parents will submit the application on their behalf. ATP is applicable to tourists who intend to enter Singapore, but not to transit passengers. After the ATP application is approved, an approval letter will be sent to the applicant by email.

Third, what to do before leaving Singapore.

Note: The direct flight ticket to Singapore must be purchased and non-transferable.

Polymerase chain reaction test before going to Singapore (you don't need to be tested if you are under 3 years old): If you have been in Chinese mainland for the past 2 1 day, if you entered the country with a Singapore visa and air pass, you don't need to be tested by polymerase chain reaction before leaving. Compulsory purchase of COVID-19 travel insurance in advance:

Short-term tourists from 202 1, 1, 3 1 23:59, who apply to enter Singapore through the Air Travel Pass (ATP) and the Reciprocal Green Passage (RGL), need to purchase travel insurance in Singapore for their COVID-19-related medical treatment and hospitalization, with a minimum amount of S $30,000. While waiting for the PCR test results, if tourists have a similar travel history within 2 1 day before leaving for Singapore, they can share a room with their family, traveling companions or nursing staff.

Note: Visitors can refer to the website of the Singapore Hotel Association (SHA) for a list of hotels that currently accept tourists to travel to Singapore with air travel passes. This list is not exhaustive. Visitors can book other available accommodations, as long as they are non-residential and separate rooms with connecting toilets.

Install Track Mobile Apps Together:

"Tracking APP Together" is a mobile APP for COVID-19, which spreads through contact tracking. All travelers must use "Together with TrackingGap" or rent TraceTogether tokens during their stay in Singapore (children aged 6 or below are exempt from TraceTogether requirements).

Before leaving Singapore, tourists must personally return their "Joint Forces Tracking Token" to any of the following places: the departure hall of Changi Airport, the schlida Business Aviation Center of schlida Airport, Wulan checkpoint, Tuesday checkpoint or the counter of Tanamela pier. Visitors who fail to return the tokens in person before leaving Singapore will be forfeited their deposit of S $50.

The deposit of S $50 will be refunded in the following cases:

The tokens returned by tourists belong to themselves; and

The visitor has made a deposit for the returned token; and

Tourists return tokens in person.

The returned token will be kept safely for 2 1 day from the date of return. If tourists are tested positive for COVID-19 during or within 2 1 day after leaving Singapore, the data in the token will be uploaded according to the requirements of the Ministry of Health of Singapore.

4. Upon arrival in Singapore

Upon arrival at Changi Airport:

Upon arrival, tourists who are not allowed to shop and eat at the airport, but can buy Singapore dollars or SIM cards, or rent mobile phones, should go through the transit area of the airport before going through the entry formalities. This is because tourists must leave the airport immediately after the PCR test arrives in COVID-19, and undergo quarantine inspection at their declared residence until the test result is confirmed negative. Please refer to the section "Transportation from Airport to Accommodation" below.

Entry and exit procedures:

When visitors enter Singapore, they must present to Singapore ICA officials: a valid approval letter of air travel pass (electronic or paper version) within the specified period before entering Singapore; Valid visa (for passport holders who need a visa); And electronic or physical copies of travel insurance policies. The minimum amount of medical and hospitalization expenses related to COVID-19 is 30,000 Singapore dollars; And a mobile device * that downloaded the "Heli Tracking Application" and registered its profile on the application (or the Heli Tracking Token of a person who is entitled to a token). Visitors who do not meet any of the above conditions may be refused entry by the Singapore International Cooperation Agency.

Visitors who enter Singapore with an approved air travel card (ATP) can also be picked up by their company/family/friends from the airport by private car. There shouldn't be more than one person to meet the guests at the airport. It is strongly recommended to take the following precautions: tourists should sit alone in the back seat and the front passenger seats are empty. If multiple tourists are picked up, passengers in the same car should have the same travel history and go to the same declared place of residence. If possible, close the window and turn off the air conditioner. After the tourists get off at the declared place of residence, the driver should wipe the vehicle.

Self-isolation and arrival notification

The results of COVID-19 PCR will come out within 48 hours after arrival. Once passengers are told that their COVID-19 test is negative, they can leave the isolation residence and start activities in Singapore. If it is positive, you need to receive COVID-19 treatment and pay the related medical expenses.
