I use Angel's fried dough sticks powder, which is said to contain no aluminum or alum. I add 20 pieces of water to 500 pieces of fried dough sticks, knead it into dough and let it stand for about 5 hours. Then I can make a long flat strip with a width of about 5CM, cut it into two strips with a knife, stack it together, hold it down with chopsticks and fry it in a pot.
