After Wuhan was closed, community volunteers became the living water of the community. Wang Ren, my cousin's good friend, is a representative of the group purchase volunteers in Wuhan Community. I asked her what problems she encountered in the process of volunteering.
She said, first, the application of technology has not been popularized. At present, the group buying is close to 180 owners of all ages, and some people are not good at using solitaire applet, and often make mistakes or repetitions. So every time volunteers buy solitaire, they have to make a new form.
The second is the problem of running orders. For example, inform the delivery time in advance. Some car owners don't look at their mobile phones for two hours. Volunteers waited until 9: 30 in the evening and didn't come to take the offer. Several volunteers can only pay to take them home.
The third is not obeying the rules. Although the requirements and rules of group buying solitaire are constantly informed, there are always people who break the rules and say that the deadline for solitaire is good. After the solitaire was stopped, someone added a bill to it. After counting, someone will always add an onion and order later.
Fourth, vulnerable groups cannot be covered. They are the people who need help most, but even the property manager doesn't know the address and list. The carpet screening in the early stage is really doubtful.
2. Vulnerable groups become more vulnerable in the Internet age.
The epidemic situation makes the spirit of community volunteers high, and many people volunteer spontaneously. It has brought a lot of thoughts, especially how to cover the vulnerable groups in the Internet environment. For example, after the closure of Wuhan, online group buying has become the choice of many people, while elderly people living alone can't use mobile phones, some don't have networks, some have mobile phones and networks, but some don't need small programs. The epidemic has made the Internet and volunteering more efficient and brought the feelings between neighbors closer, but the vulnerable groups have become more vulnerable in the epidemic.
3. The vague boundary of volunteer service responsibility
As far away as Beijing, we also started the volunteer community group purchase service. I am a volunteer in the strawberry group. When I first joined the strawberry group, I just liked strawberries.
Just joined the group, just as the group cracked down on stealing strawberries. It turns out that the rule of group buying is that three boxes are a copy (50 yuan) at a time, and strawberries must be collected within half an hour after being delivered to the community. After half an hour, the volunteer leader leaves, and the consequences of losing strawberries are at your own risk. That day, neighbor A who went late lost three boxes of strawberries. The monitoring was inconclusive. Later, the farm owner refunded the money to neighbor A, but this incident dampened the enthusiasm of the team leader. She told the group friends that there was another strawberry ball in the community, and she was willing to pull the group friends into another strawberry ball.
Later, the group found that the strawberries of another strawberry group were not as delicious as ours. Their form was to pick up the dragon first, and the merchants sent it to the community and paid on the spot.
As a group friend who loves strawberries, I propose to organize a volunteer team in our upcoming 129 strawberry group. So, a group of six people was set up. The six volunteers are all women, who didn't know each other before, and soon became friends after they started a small group. We decided to take turns.
For the first time after the volunteer team was established, a neighbor asked for a return, which was too small for white strawberries. The businessman returned the money without saying anything. However, the occurrence of this incident made our volunteers a little uncomfortable and felt that they had no obligation to do customer service. Another neighbor weighed it and found that a box of strawberries didn't weigh 500 grams. Therefore, we decided to directly negotiate with the strawberry merchants in the group for after-sales customer service such as return and exchange. I wonder, where is the responsibility boundary of voluntary service?
The second time I bought strawberries, there was an incident of pretending to be strawberries. There was a frail old man who was told to pick up strawberries and quickly arrived at the scene. He looked at the group purchase list, reported two serial numbers showing English names, and took six boxes of strawberries. After the volunteer partners described their physical features, the team leader found that the old man had been here last time and had called strawberries, but he couldn't remember the building number and unit of his home, and he couldn't tell clearly. He waited a long time, watching others take strawberries. When the colonel asked to take a picture of him and take the strawberries away, the old man didn't take them away.
This time, the volunteers on duty for the first time were very angry because they were impersonated by strawberries under their noses. We found that a person who stole strawberries and pretended to be strawberries sneaked into the group buying group, knowing exactly when our strawberries would arrive, and taking strawberries was more concerned than us.
Volunteers decided to check the monitoring, and found that no one could be seen in the blurred image at all, and 10 minutes after the arrival of the goods was the peak period of strawberry picking. There are too many people, and the video is even more difficult to see. It's too expensive to monitor the entrance of two small doors. Volunteers have to give up.
During the adjustment of the community surveillance video, the team members have been trying to solve the case. The first time I looked at the number of group members, it was 129. When we discussed it, there were only 128 people left. In the meantime, a group friend said, "Sorry, I'll return it first and buy it next time!" " "When she left the group, no one doubted her.
A group friend C spoke: "Friendly reminder to this old man, we have found your image, just waiting for you to appear in the community!" " "Everyone spoke in succession. A group of friends said: "If there is an image, send it to the group, everyone can claim it, and family members can handle it well. In a sense, it is also a kind of help for the elderly. "Group friend C said:" The image will not be sent first, and we will further monitor and track the displacement of the elderly. After we find out, we will discuss whether to call the police directly or publish the image. "I am curious about the positive comments of this group of friends about solving crimes. She is not a member of our six-person volunteer team. Later, the head of the delegation told me that Group Friend C was the neighbor who lost strawberries for the first time.
Four. Sustainable Volunteering: Trust, Responsibility and Rules
Whether communicating with volunteers in Fengcheng and Wuhan or participating in voluntary service by myself, I think that voluntary service group buying:
First, establish basic trust, based on neighborhood relations and good neighborhood quality.
Second, the boundary of volunteer responsibility is vague, and problems arise, which is easy to dampen the enthusiasm of volunteer service. If there is a problem of loss or impersonation, it will affect your mood and consume energy to deal with it. The same is true for running a single ticket in Wuhan.
Third, volunteer service is not customer service, but needs to be respected. Some group friends hitchhike when voluntary service is free. Indifferent to public affairs.
Fourth, rules are very important. After losing the strawberries and taking the initiative, our volunteer team discussed the seven-point group purchase requirements. 1. You must pick it up within half an hour, otherwise you can't join this group. 2. When picking strawberries, line up in order. Just report the numbers, not the list.
5. How will this spirit of volunteerism continue after the epidemic?
When I was visiting Britain, I took part in a charity event in a public school, the "Race for Life". This is a running race. If students get a good ranking, they can donate money to cancer patients in his or her name. This is a public welfare way of British schools. Let you do what you like and help others at the same time.
I realized this British public welfare concept from the volunteer service of buying strawberries. We are all strawberry lovers. We take part in group buying volunteer service. Strawberries will not be cut off. We volunteered to help others.
Public welfare activities in Britain will be accompanied by competitive activities or group activities. Participants do what they like and do public welfare. Harvest something different in public welfare, maybe it's competition ranking, maybe it's happiness, maybe it's a sense of accomplishment.
After the epidemic, how can this volunteer spirit continue? It is a public welfare mobilization mechanism that can be tried, so that everyone can do what they like and help others.
