The park is located on the golden tourism line of Guilin, Nanning, Shivandashan Forest Park, Dongxing and Halong Bay in Vietnam. The total area of the jurisdiction is 2037 hectares, of which 1336 hectares are water source forests, accounting for 65% of the total area, and the forest coverage rate reaches more than 98%. in July 1995, the forest farm carried out industrial restructuring, utilized the forest resources and natural landscapes to develop the forest tourism industry, and founded the Shiman Dashan Forest Park. The park is located in the core area of Shimandashan, where the story of the movie "Heroes and Tigers" made in the 1950s took place, and Shimandashan Forest Park was also an important location for the movie. The release of the feature film "Heroes and Tigers" made Shivandashan famous throughout the country, and in August 1996, Shivandashan Forest Park was assessed as a national forest park by the State Forestry Administration.
