Chinese navigational standards exhibition hall is located in Qinhuangdao City, the beautiful scenery of the south side of the East Mountain Park, and the Qin Shi Huang Quxian into the sea adjacent to the building area of 1809.22 square meters, of which the exhibition hall area of 949.9 square meters, accessory rooms 859.32 square meters, June 18, 2000 was officially opened. The exhibition hall is divided into three floors and the ancillary rooms are five floors. It is divided into five indoor exhibition areas and outdoor exhibition areas: the first comprehensive exhibition area; the second visual beacon exhibition area; the third audio beacon exhibition area; the fourth beacon boat exhibition area; the fifth radio beacon exhibition area. Outdoor exhibition area for the larger beacon physical exhibition area, with fog bell, fog signal, fog cannon and lighthouse lanterns and other valuable large physical exhibits. The first exhibition area is located in the first floor of the exhibition hall, the second and third exhibition area is located in the second floor of the exhibition hall, the fourth and fifth exhibition area is located in the third floor of the exhibition hall. The outdoor exhibition area is located in the yard of the Navigation Exhibition Center. The shape of the exhibition hall is unique, with distinctive features of the navigation mark.

As the only professional navigational marking exhibition hall in China and one of the few national navigational marking exhibition halls in the world, China Navigational Marking Exhibition Hall concentrates the history of China's navigational marking development for thousands of years, and fully demonstrates the entrepreneurial spirit of navigational marking people's arduous struggle. In order to further publicize China's maritime culture and history and promote the spirit of navigation, the Ministry of Transportation and Communications refurbished and rearranged the exhibition of China Navigational Standards Exhibition Hall in 2007.
