There are different punishments according to local governments. According to the Regulations of Beijing Municipality on the Management of Domestic Waste, if a unit violates the provisions of the first paragraph of Article 34 of these regulations, the comprehensive law enforcement department of urban management shall order it to make immediate corrections. If the circumstances are serious, a fine of not less than 50,000 yuan but not more than 500,000 yuan shall be imposed.

Thirty-fourth units and individuals that produce domestic garbage are the main body responsible for the classified delivery of domestic garbage, and shall be classified and delivered in accordance with the following provisions:

(1) According to the classification of kitchen waste, recyclables, harmful waste and other wastes, put them into corresponding marked collection containers respectively;

(two) waste furniture, household appliances and other large waste items, in the place designated by the person in charge of domestic waste classification management;

(three) the lime soil produced by the daily life of rural villagers is placed separately in the corresponding container or the place designated by the person in charge of domestic waste classification management;

(four) other provisions of the state and this Municipality on the classification of domestic waste.

Construction waste generated by residents in the process of housing renovation shall be piled up separately according to the time, place and requirements specified by the person in charge of domestic waste classification management.

Sixty-eighth units that violate the provisions of the first paragraph of article thirty-fourth of these regulations shall be ordered by the comprehensive law enforcement department of urban management to correct immediately. If the circumstances are serious, a fine of not less than 50,000 yuan but not more than 500,000 yuan shall be imposed.

Individuals who violate the provisions of Article 34 of these regulations shall be discouraged by the personnel responsible for the classified management of domestic waste; Do not listen to dissuasion, report to the comprehensive law enforcement department of urban management, and the comprehensive law enforcement department of urban management will give a written warning; Those who violate the regulations again shall be fined between fifty yuan and two hundred yuan.

Individuals who should be punished in accordance with the provisions of the preceding paragraph voluntarily participate in community service activities such as domestic waste classification, and shall not be subject to administrative punishment.
